This origin story does not disappoint! Visuals, controls, and story are just as good as the other Arkham games.

Who doesn't want to be Batman. Another entry into the series but this time made by a different company. The story is good. It serves as the origins of certain villains and serves as pre-quel of sorts to the Arkham games. I felt like they sort of repainted the Arkham City map and aded very little new elements.

This was a fairly decent Batman game. Not as good as the first two, the fighting is still some of the best in any game. Too many bugs and glitches hampered the overall experience for me!

Maybe not pefect but still fun as ever

The Arkham series Batman is probably one of the best hero game ever made. This one is not developed by Rocksteady. There are bugs and glitches, but it's still fun as ever. I'm sure the bugs and glitches will get patched, so if you're reading this, just hold out a month more. The combat, the awesome combat and the predator mode are just as awesome as before. I think it's the same, even though people may disagree, but I feel it's the same, which is good. This time around, you can continue finishing your beatdown on a thug after a counter, which make things easier on armored thugs. The voices are a bit average... I guess I'm so used to the voices from BTAS that I can't be objective on this. It's good compare to other games, just not BTAS good. The multiplayer is currently troubled. A bug or a glitch is putting most players in a lobby by themselves when they use quickmatch most of the time. So you got to be patient and keep looking for a lobby with players. It may also take time for a lobby to fill up due to the said bug. Once the game gets going, it's fun. When do you get to be the Batman or The Robin and take down thugs controlled by real players. When you're good at it, you'll even see players panic like the AI in the game. It's just priceless to see you really are putting the fear into them. Overall a good game and the MP is in the right direction. The MP is a bit unpolished but it's their first MP and I think Splash Damage did a good job on it, if they can patch the matchmaking bug.

If you like anything Batman, this game is for you!!! It is a very solid game. The story is well done and the graphics are amazing. The boss fights were kind of a let down. You have iconic bosses and the build up to the fights are awesome and intense but the fights themselves leave something to be desired. All in all a good game.

Best of the 3 Arkham games, but only in tone. Now you can fully be the vigilante in a Gotham City full of crooked cops and intimidating baddies. The atmosphere is stark, dire and brutal. Of the three Arkham games, this is the one where you can truly BE the BAT in his domain, fighting villains that feel genuinely dangerous. A few bugs are off-putting (infrequent freezing), but I'm sure they'll patch them soon. If you don't like Batman, don't buy this game.

Honestly, it is the perfect game. It is extremely challenging, entertaining, and you really get the feeling of being the Caped Crusader. I read the reviews, bad and good, and decided to test my luck. And I am still not dissppointed, the boss fight with Deathstroke is just to awesome for words. And the twist involving the main villain is just... insane. Basically, if you go in knowing that you are playing ANOTHER game from the Arkham series, you will enjoy the game. If you are looking for something brand new, you will be slightly disappointed.

There are a lot of tough reviews on this because I think people were expecting this to be very different from Arkham City. If you loved AC, you'll love this. The gameplay is familiar and the boss fights are all fresh and challenging. The level up system is an added challenge and I recommend trying the challenges early as you will level up quicker and not have to do some of the harder challenges with harder foes.

    Holy Fighting Batman

Albeit the graphics are fantastic you can tell a difference between the first two done by Rocksteady and this one. What idiot thought making Deathstroke the hardest fight in the beginning of the game was a good idea? Even though I persevered like a champ, it was hard as heck and almost set the tone for a crummy gaming experience. Hands down the most challenging of the three, still not my favorite. Nothing comes close to Arkham Asylum, but this game was a lot of fun to play.

The gameplay and graphics are about the same from the others games. The story is quite good, but since this is a prequel that takes place some 10 or so odd number of years before the first they should've took that into acount. Batman wouldn't have all the same high-tech gear and they wouldn't be any smart phones for the thugs to be texting on.

It's a good batman game that will ride me over until the next true arkham game. It uses all the things that worked from the arkham series but doesn't offer anything new to make it better. No innovation makes it feel like a by the numbers experience

This is easily the best Batman game to date, and I love Arkham Asylum and Arkham City...but this takes the cake. With even more engaging combat, more bosses, and the batwing, this is as exciting as single player gaming gets.
