Alright Game, I Guess.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the weaker games I've played this year, but it's not terrible. The controls and movement just feel awful and the weapon mechanics aren't great. That's all.

Decent shooter game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previous battlefields were better. Really have to like world war themes to really like this game. Some of the vehicles gameplay helps this game become more like able.

GAME
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not impressed with this game. My son wanted it badly and for him it was quite disappointing. I traded it in for something else within a few days of purchase.

Shoddy Gameplay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Subpar graphics, glitchy gameplay and extremely difficult vehicle controls make this one of the most disappointing games I've ever had the misfortune of playing. The weapon acquisition system is also boring and without any type of true leveling system to unlock weapon features this game is just a step below the rest. The one plus is the storyline or backdrop being set in World War I was very refreshing and original but overall the game lacks anything I would consider entertaining.

OKAY shooter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The single player campaign gets 4/5 stars, the multiplayer gets 3/5 stars. The game lacks depth in multiplayer, little customization, and the UI isnt polished.

Most beautiful story of all first person shooters
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game absolutely surpassed every other ps4 game to date. When I purchased the ps4 about a year ago, I wasn't that impressed going from the ps3 and xbox 360 to the ps4. I was concerned it was overhyped and may not have been the best purchase. I am a very avid gamer, with my wife as well, and have since purchased dozens of games for the system, all of which I think would have been just as well on ps3 as on ps4, just smoother graphics operations on the ps4 due to technology advancement. THIS IS THE GAME I WAS WAITING FOR!! The very moment it began the first story (there's five), I knew that someone had finally made something worthy of purchasing the ps4. The graphics will blow your mind. Beautiful landscapes that show every little bit of detail and color changes that nobody before has met to my expectations. Seamless and fluid transitions from section to section, never slowing down or degrading the graphics (like other games do to make it seem like the games graphics are better than they really are that make them cartoonish). This game is, without a doubt, the best game I have ever played. It's not like another major FPS that comes out with the same game every year with a few minor changes that doesn't really put any effort in the story, you know which one I'm talking about. The stories were incredible, showing some things that soldiers and marines went through on the ground during world war one. Dice did a really good job putting forth the effort, no Honor, to make this game like a memorial to fully appreciate those that sacrificed everything to change the world during the war. My wife almost started crying during a story, because the game showed the full heartbreak of the men when the smoke cleared and they were able to see the devastation and death of those they depended on and loved like brothers, and made it feel like you were right there with them experiencing it. It's not just a one time play and you never touch it again. The game includes things that you have to find during the missions that can help you in multiplayer, so if you miss them, you have to go back through the story some time later to find those items, its a very good incentive to replay it, which I can see myself playing it several times over the years even without that. On to the multiplayer. Again, it's very smooth, a little confusing at first how to actually change your weapons around, not just the little bar on the bottom, you actually have to go into customize screen to "purchase" your weapons for the assault, medic, support, sniper mods. Once that was figured out it's a pretty standard FPS in actions only: i.e. capture the flag type conquer, rush, that sort of thing. That's where it ends comparing it to "duty" games. Almost everything is destroyable. Somebody hiding in a building, put tank rounds into it and bring the whole thing down. And the best part in my mind, not everyone is a sniper that can hit you clear across the map then bring in drones and airstrikes and get 100 kills per game that way, again you know what i'm talking about, even in past battlefield series they did that. NOT IN THIS ONE. That's right, if you don't want to be a team player and work together, you will not do well and the entire team will suffer, just like in real wars, which I have had the unpleasant experience of. That's all I'm going to say, except multiplayer is worth it. So overall, get the game, you will appreciate the stories and the multiplayer. I could probably get rid of all my other games, have just this one, and be happy for quite a while. Again it feels like this was a memorial to those who served and were forgotten by most, so to DICE if you read this, from a former member of the United States Marine Corps, I thank you from the bottom of my heart at how well you honored the men and women who served.

Avid Gamer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this game for half off on Black Friday just because all of the hype and I have been disappointed in it. I'd rather play COD Modern Warfare Remastered.

Short Campaign mode
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So if you are into the campaign mode then you will most likely be disappointed because how short it is. I dont do online gameplay so I cant speak on that.

Good game, still lacking something
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been looking for something different lately concerning shooters, just more of the same really. Want more realism! A headshot should kill period the end.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game changed things up slightly because of modern warfare fatigue but it could've used a little more content

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game after seeing the commercials and ads online. I don't think it's as fun as it looked in the ads. It may just not be my thing.

Fun but not for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn't a big fan of this game. The maps are too large and it's impossible to find anyone. And when I do, I'm already dead. Not my cup of tea.

Battlefield 1

I was expecting more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played Battlefield a few years ago and I enjoyed it so much. Unfortunately, this new installment of Battlefield is nothing like what I remember. The main menu is very confusing and I can never tell which mission should be played next since you can jump from one campaign to another. Also, this game is very dark which makes it difficult to see your enemy. Playing online seems a bit better but I would not recommend this game to others.
