The disk did not work (ordered online). Kept saying to check the disk to see if it was dirty or damaged even though it was brand new. I had to go to a store to trade it in for a new one. This is the only reason I am giving it a bad review, but the game is great.

Average Game... The story line and gameplay is the same of all the others. Why keep spending cash on the same stuff? Because you do. Thus, they keep making them. You cry the cost is high, yet you support. It's the same game.

    Great Single Player

BF1's campaign surprised me right off the bat with the way the introduction was able to present the gravity of war. Obviously a game will never come close to representing the true experience, but the hopelessness conveyed was a far cry from the near invincibility that many shooters employ. The single player experience is split into five stories that vary in character, location, and timeline. I enjoyed all of them quite a bit, and they presented a nice variety. Vehicles play prominent roles in two missions, and stealth play was necessary, or at least an option, for at least part of all the missions. Even though each mission is an entirely new story with new characters, they manage to make you identify and feel for these characters almost immediately. Admittedly I hadn't read much about the game before release so perhaps my expectations were lower than they should have been, but BF1 was a great experience and if I had more time I would jump into the multiplayer as well. I should also note that the game is beautiful.

Total bs that a campaign is so short, where are all the good single player games. Everything is being turned into online bs

First off, if your heavy on beautiful graphics like me, this is a game to see! Aside from that, the Battlefield has been a great series, overall. I started with Bad Company on PS3, which I still have, and dug it so much, I continued on picking up Battlefield games. However, I will say I was a bit apprehensive about getting ANOTHER World War based military shooter, which can be very boring, but after the visuals piqued my interest then the beta, I was glad I decided to pick this up. Gameplay is best yet, to me, and the single player campaign is very well done. I was sucked in to the different stories being told. I almost want to say it's in a stratosphere of it's own but I'm still mulling that over in my head. Believe me, it's up there. I haven't dug too much into the multiplayer since the beta (soo many games to play PLUS I have the PSVR that I LOVE) and admittedly, I'm not a big multiplayer person but the single player campaign has me very hyped to dive right into multiplayer on a daily basis. Not to mention, a few people have mentioned how they are hooked on the multiplayer for this game. That said, if your FPS fan, I believe you WILL NOT go wrong with this game.

Great Addition to the Battlefield Series

Battlefield One throws you back in time to the First World War, playing as several of the nations involved. The setting of the game feels like some of the previous iterations of WWII games (such as Medal of Honor), but the graphics are detailed and appealing. These beautiful buildings and settings can be blown up, of course, allowing for destructive environments that open up the playing field. The single player is broken up into several different fronts with several 'mini-missions' making up each of the chapters of the campaign. I played through on the hardest difficulty and was able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time without replaying for the collectibles/challenges on each mission. It's an enjoyable story, albeit feels a bit short. The multiplayer is where the game really shines (as most in the Battlefield series). You can play up to 32 vs. 32 in huge, epic battles in the environments you played through in the campaign. Dreadnaughts are provided to the losing team to try and balance the game out to make it more even in the waning moments. These giant vehicles (zeppelin, battle cruiser, armored train) allow players to pilot them and support the team in taking victory points. I have played the multiplayer for many hours and still am not bored of it. There are new places to snipe from, more environments to blow up,and different guns to unlock for each class as you play through. My one request is.. if you play as a medic, please dear god revive and heal your team.

Brilliant. Exciting. Finally hit the mark.

Battlefield has always attempted to give us something different. They have been playing catch up with COD for awhile. But it appears they have something to do it. It maybe a step back in time again, but it's realistic wartime game play and wonderful graphic enhancement makes this exciting. This time the tense war fighting and LARGE maps hit the mark. It's clear EA put great effort into bringing something exciting. Brilliance is finally starting shine a little for EA....finally. I know surprising. It's definitely not what we're are now accustomed to seeing in modern day gun play bUT that's what makes it awesome. It's still a lot of fun and offers tons of space to fight like actual war. However, the gun selections are a bit "off", the time it takes to rank up and the coin you need to buy upgrade in game, can deter some gamers. Nonetheless, you can't go wrong with this game. COD may find itself in the lead again with its new release on Nov. 4 but, Battlefield truly is a Battlefield and is worth every dollar spent to get it. Spoiler: Don't hold your breath over the weapon and perk unlocks you get with Premium Pass, not entirely enticing. Hope this helps! GAME ON!
