I was really hoping for a WW2 game again, I feel like that era was overdone for awhile but has been in a drought since then. BF1944 would have been right up my alley but WW1 it was to be. Operations mode has to be the stand out here, best BF game mode to date. WW1 setting is neat and also awkward. For WW1 I would have preferred to have seen the balance of the guns to be more geared towards what was more realistic. This game has machine guns and subguns a plenty. Your team can have as many as they feel like and if you want a bolt action rifle, standard for the time, with just iron sites, well that makes you part of the "scout" class. I understand its a game so they get some leeway there, but I still wish that every "class" could use a bolt action rifle as the standard issue. I also think it would have been quite unique had they given the medic class only a pistol. I think that would focus medics on their job instead of on the combat. Overall I still find this game to be fantastic set aside from the unreal ww1 setting. I think of it more of an altered history version. Lot's of fun with a squad of friends.

Great multiplayer fps. Campaign is the best of the battlefield series yet, but is relativily short.

I resisted buying this game because EA ALWAYS has issues when they first release a Battlefield title...so I waited until Black Friday to pick this one up for 19.99... The good: the initial campaign is pretty decent from a history perspective. Graphics are awesome. Maps are large. Lots of players per map... The Bad: multiplayer... I have a 150Mbps connection and yet I spend more time waiting for games to load than getting to actually play. Gun balancing is WAY off. Guns in WWI were not as accurate as they are portrayed here, but I guess if you made it historically accurate, none of the run-n-gun or spray-n-pray kids would play, right? My recommendation: skip this game until spring, maybe by then it will load faster and get into games quicker. For now I'll stick with BF4.

Battlefield One has to be one of the best war games out, Call of Duty has become bland and only surviving off Zombie mode. This game brings you back into the fray of what these game are and have been. The online play is even better, graphics are amazing. This is a must buy game.

Like I said see the trailer and you pick what you want. A disgusting COD first person shooter game or a game that'll blow your mind with a realistic setting and gameplay. You decide. P.S The only good thing coming out of COD is Modern Warfare.

The game is great, the graphics are awesome, and the little stories they tell are awesome. The only reason I give it 4 stars out 5 you can finish campaign in 1 day if you have the time. I guess I was expecting longer campaign.

While the multiplayer aspect of it is not my absolute favorite, I can say that the campaign is fantastic. Very immersive, story is great, and the authenticity is there and shines through. IMO, the campaign alone is worth it.

I've always loved the battlefield series and this installment does not disappoint there's no telling how many hours I've put into it thus far. Do yourself a favor and pick it up.

I don't play much online FPS, but this game is very addicting. Fast paced with several class system, each requiring a different play style. Great game to play with friends.

The one stars are going to be from COD fanboys, so please disregard them.

After playing the Battlefield series since the beginning. I can honestly say this is the best Battlefield game in the entire series. Worth every penny.

Educational and a true treat to play! Very impressed with the online play and the Story! I spend many hours playing this game every chance I get!

This game will make history. It is truly one of the best FPS games I have ever played. I'm typically a COD fan, but this game blew me away.

Much better than Battlefield Hardline. Graphics are amazing and gameplay is very fun. Audio is very good on this game as well. A must buy!

If you are into multiplayer games this is definitely a game to own. Campaign is okay however the multiplayer is great and has much depth.

Get bored with new editions which usually add just few minor changes but the graphics have improves greatly with this new edition

pre ordered mine and just played the BETA. Games so much fun and the maps are huge! very fun game can't wait for the release!!!

Battlefield 1 has fantastically reimagined the way that online FPS games are played. With new "sentry kits" allowing for players to receive a competitive advantage over enemy teams, to large maps with dynamic and destructible environments, it changes the way the game is played... even when you play the same map multiple times in a session. With Battlefield 1, no two matches are alike.

I had the battlefield4 and the next one, but Battlefield1 is the best of them, best graphics & based on real stories.
