    Though Battlefield 1 has a shockingly good campaign, and a beautiful, grimy aesthetic and some of the best sound design in this genre of game, it still amounts to the same-old multiplayer shtick for me. It's appealing to think "Oh multiplayer matches are just utter chaos. Big loud fun." but when you get there it's just more aimless running and gunning... Not an innovator, but a solid shooter.
