Following issues surrounding Battlefield 4, Star Wars Battlefront, and Battlefield Hardline (frostbite engine), I was a bit hesitant to give this game a try. Even after the beta, I was really not interested in this game. I then began watching my friends, streaming their gameplay, and realized that the map, for the beta, was the worst map in the game. I watched some of their other maps, and realized there may actually be potential. Once I decided to give the game a try, I was pleased to find it to be much better than I expected. The maps are larger, and have many paths (no bottlenecks), like I enjoyed in older titles. The attention to detail, and the visuals are both amazing, especially compared to other games out there. The environmental details give the game a very gritty feel, and really helps with the immersion. So why not 5 stars? Well, they have released a patch, to address many issues that they clearly knew existed, when they shipped the game. The problem is, there are several remaining gamplay bugs, which have become apparent since the game's release. For instance, when a player is revived, there are random times, where your gun will not work, until you swap weapons, then back again. When you quit, at the end of a map, it takes forever to get back to the main menu. The best guess is, you remain in the next map, until it completes (people have waited 15 minutes, before giving up). In the beta, some people were having problems using the flamethrower class. They fixed that in the final release, but the same issue now exists in the flamethrower tanks (If I sit in the back seats, no flames are discharged from the tank gun). Once these final issues are addressed, and several guns get balanced, this game should be a FPS to satisfy most gamers for quite a while.

I haven't played the single player campaign yet, but the multiplayer is amazing! Super intense battles where you must rely on your squad to help you out. I love both Battlefiled and COD games, but for different reasons. COD games are fast paced and fun, but Battlefiled is so much more tactical and calculated...... Just buy it already!

The large maps, the extensive class selection, the great matchmaking, and the vehicle system put this game miles above the constant year in and year out of terrible Call of Duty releases.

I'm so happy they went away from the Syfy things that they've been doing. That is not what Battlefield was built on. The campaign mode is a little short but the online mode is awesome

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this title. Got it on sale and did not expect much, but the story, graphics, and gameplay variety blew me away. Really enjoyed the WWI setting. Single player took around 7 hours to complete and it never felt tedious or boring . Every campaign was unique and memorable.

I'm not the best at this FPS games, but over the years I've dipped in and our of COD, Battlefront/Battfield etc. I have to confess this is probably the best one to date, not just because of the obvious upgraded graphics but for once the story is based in fact which gives it a whole new dimension to the game. Highly recommended.

Finally, a first person shooter that I can enjoy. A great new game that shies away from what other games are attempting to do with all of their futuristic concepts. I feel extremely immersed in the multiplayer and have no regrets with my purchase. You'll love this game just for the looks even if you're not a good FPS player.

The graphics, sound, and gameplay are all incredible. With the new operations mode, for me none of the other modes are worth playing anymore it's such a great concept. That being said there are only 4 operations to choose from and after you put some good hours into the game it leaves it a bit repetitive. But hey it wouldn't be EA if the game was fully complete leaving no room to sell content that already should have been there in the first place.

It's battlefield and controls feel like battlefield. I am not a big fan of world war 1 or 2 games so I knew I wasn't going to be that into it. But that said it's fun, and I like the short stories if different locations. I had one glitch in flying story where it got stuck and the last enemy disappeared so I couldnt finish sequence. So I had to start over from the checkpoint. 60fps is awesome and graphics are amazing. Played on PS4 pro and 4k tv.

Battlefield is a compelling, heart wrenching, and fantastic journey that every gamer should experience! It was one of the most realistic games I have ever played, graphically and gameplay. I highly recommend playing it on the PS4 Pro, but whatever system you play it on, it will be an experience you never forget! Only received four stars because the single player campaign is too short, but the multiplayer options quickly make up for it.

This game beat all my expectations. Bestbuy had the lowest price and I grabbed one without even thinking. Best shooter and war game ever. So realistic in every way. Love the weapon selections. Sniper rifles so real! I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes shooter games! Would make a great gift to any guy!

One of my favorite games of the year. Graphics, controls, experience is fantastic. You need to buy it.

While it's not the best Battlefield quite yet, it sure is the best in a long time. The single player is awesome. It tells the story from a bunch of different perspectives and it never loses its hols on my interests. The multiplayer is where it's at though. The battles are huge and the gameplay is amazing.

If you like battlefield, this is a no-brainer. Great action, great teamplay, amazing graphics. The only real issue I have with it is that it doesn't really do anything innovative to restart the series. I've played every entry in the battlefield series, but my most memorable one is still Battlefield 2. And the series really hasn't changed much since then. Thats the only reason I wouldnt just give it a 5. Try harder, Dice!

Great game, MP is excellent!!! And the campaign and variety is incredible too. Finally a FPS entry that has both, good MP and Campaign. So good, Call of Duty had to go and copy it, and is bringing out WW2 now lol. This game is much better than Infinite Warfare. Buy and enjoy the rawness of war!

I have been a strict COD player since Modern warfare, but they have gone in the wrong direction with all these ridiculous futuristic specs. Battlefield is bringing it back with what the people really want. If you are looking for a more realistic war game this is it, stay away from call of booty lol

This game is visually stunning! This is a traditional shooter amongst a sea of future shooters. A game based on actual events in the history of our world creates a deeper connection between the player and the story. This game has a lot of heart not just empty hours of dispatching waves of enemies.

I really appreciate the difference in this game to COD, though I do like the double jumps and sliding, this is much more realistic. The maps can be HUGE. The weapons are cool, love the shotguns for close and sniping can be fun. However without buying the DLC I feel I'm missing out a little bit.

I have to say I'm not a fan of shooters because they all feel the same. Battlefield feels fresh I know it's been done before but this game it's beautiful, violent, and fun. The story is very well done and gameplay doesn't bore. The multiplayer is just as much fyb, pick-up a copy you won't regret.

They have a decent single player campaign, but the real fun is with a group of your friends and the frantic chaos of the battlefield. The burst of intense action online in massive open maps make this more of an experience than Call of duty's run down one of 3 or 4 paths & spawn deaths.
