Gameplay is not fun compared to BF4 and the inclusion of specialists is just EA's attempt to sell future characters. The graphics also seem subpar for the PS5 console. I would pick it up for $20 once they add more content, improve the gameplay, and clean up the bugs. But at its current state it is a joke of a game.

Pretty good game. Haven't had a chance to play it much but overall it's legit good. I can only imagine it will get better. I would buy it again at the discounted price I got it for at best buy.

Worth the money! I usually don't play this game, but this one has a lot of detail and great gameplay. Slower paced compared to COD. But definitely worth the money. I heard that this game has glitches but I haven't experienced anything yet.

Very good game with great graphics. The game has many maps some of which are very large.. vehicle use is a must with these maps. This is one of the best long term games out there.!!

Not the classic Battlefield gameplay that most of us love, however it’s not a terrible game. The maps are too big and too open in most cases, but is still a decently fun game as long as you don’t go in with high expectations.

Nothing at all like previous battlefield games. Its more than glitches that make this a bad game; bad shooting mechanics, movement, and horrible aim assist. Maps are way too big and even though you’ve got 128 players they somehow feel empty.

Bought this game out of nostalgia. Its currently buggy at then time of this this review but after a couple updates its been better and future updates to come will def make it more enjoyable.

At first i was upset of the poor graphics of the game but once it finishes downloading i was amazed how it looks way better then battlefield 1

I usually play shooters in campaign mode to get a feel for things then go into the online leveling up process. I don’t have the time to dedicate to online play consistently. For me this was a let down as it’s a multiplayer only release. Still fun just not what I was looking for.

Needs alot more diversity, guns, maps. Was not a finished product

If you loved bf1, bf4, bc1, bc2, bf3… don’t waste your time. EA/DICE have destroyed our game. Please save your money. Vote with your wallet. Remember when other shooters copied battlefield? This game is the result of battlefield copying other shooters. And then they cut like 70% of the content of that game and here we are now with bf2042. Bugs that have been the “beta” have been in the retail game now FOR THREE MONTHS NOW (blank loadout for example). Having this game in my library just reminds me how much of a fool I am for trusting EA post Anthem. Or, maybe I just need to manage my brutal expectations.

I have never played this game and when I caught it on sale I decided to dive in. Still getting up to speed but so far its been fun.

A game I have been waiting on for a long time. Like any game released now a days its has it release quirks and hopefully they get fixed as time continues. Overall an excellent refresh for battlefield fans such as myself

This is similar review to modern ware fare. Great games for connecting family around the world. Graphics and story lines are great as well. Always look forward to next..

Bought this game on sale to add to my collection while it was on sale… it has to be worth what I paid for it

Very fun game to play I love it very recommended very different from call of duty this is my first battlefield game and I loved how you can fly and drive tanks and planes
