This is one of the best multiplayer games I have ever played. There is so much to do and unlock. It keeps the game interesting and challenging. I love that you can specialize in things other than just kills. The game is best when you get a few friends together in a squad and play as a team. You can have different strengths and skills that blend together. It's what makes this game. Just buy it!

Ok, I would like to start out by saying that I am a lover of all FPS games, Halo, Call of Duty, Half-Life, even Battlefield. However, I was unimpressed and underwhelmed with BF3. I has great sound, awesome environmental graphics and a decent story, but the character models and the excessive language just kinda killed it for me. The characters look like they were pulled from the original XBOX version of BF2 and just plugged into the environment without any tweaking. They also are too robotic, the movements arent as fluid, unlike MW. The cussing also didnt help matters, I mean I know its a military game, but even the Modern Warfare series is cleaner than this game. Overall, I wanted so badly to like this game, but I came out disappointed. Oh well, off to play MW3.

This game is what FPS games should be like. This game requires skills to play and be decent and/or good at. If your a C.O.D. player who has grown tired of MW3 like so many of us, and your picking this game up, just realize its not going to be run and gun, its not going to be a one man wrecking machine that wins the game. It takes skill, it takes patience and it takes team work. Your going to get owned a few times, your going to have to rank your weapons up and your going to have to actually play an objective. Sure you can snipe, you can hide on a bushy hill and get kills, but if your not really helping your team out then you still lose. Its worth it people, its worth leaving C.O.D. and learning to play a real FPS.

If your undecided between Battlefield 3 and MW3 u shouldnt be. This has amazing grapchics and realistic gameplay. Unlike mw3 where u have same graphics as 2 years ago and the gameplay is arcade like. I have played all the call of dutys since it came out on ps2 and mw3 isnt worth anybodys time. For the people who say its the best are the fanboys of the franchise and will buy anything with the title call of duty. Battlefield is great even at a $60 price

There are too many good things to say about this game, If you liked call of duty, gears of war or halo, load up BF3 and enjoy a multiplayer experience that is just as rich as it is different. Every gun is unique and extremely custimizible. Every class offers an extra edge on the battlefield and each game mode and map offer a new way to play the game.

The multiplayer can last a long time,It never gets old. The campaign was just ok,needs a little work..Overall the game is great.

Battlefield 3's game style is more realistic than Call of Duty games and playing it seemed like navigating combat simulation. Perhaps a good game for war vets. I recommend it although don't expect a great story line as it is a little slow sometimes and provides a good opportunity for toilet room breaks.

Explosive environments, vehicles, and great gameplay. The only first person shooter that can compete with modern warfare

Great game. Graphics are beautiful if occasionally a little buggy in places. Although the story is average at best and has a little too much back and forth to coherently follow it is still so much fun to play because there is immense realism in the landscapes and locations. Multiplayer is tremendous. Expansive maps and vehicles give it the edge over those "other" games out there. Very easy for a novice to pick up and play and not feel totally out of your depth in the first 5 minutes. TWO THUMBS UP!

Don't normally like FPS games but saw some videos of it. Plus it was on sale at half price so I bought it. Game held my interest all the way thru the campaign. Just now starting the online play so I can't comment on that. Plan on getting previous title(BF2) to play it. Best graphics I've seen on a game. And the varying situations you are put in... i.e. on land fighting, air combat, tank fight.

Great game for story, and graphic. online play may need time to get use to but still awesome game

Been playing Battlefield games since they started with 1942. This edition of the series offers the most complex and challenging online yet. This is not an arcade shooter. If your looking for that, then look elsewhere. Battlefield 3 is a team style game. You can't win much by trying to do everything yourself. You get rewarded for helping your team and squadmates. The two basic styles of play are similar to the previous game but with much better and large maps; and the ability to play as different types of soldiers is very satisfying. The four soldier profiles each offer their own brand of fighting but only work well if you work with your team. Many unlocks are available as well as leveling your primary weapon to create your own personal weapons to wreak havok with. Conquest is great but the Rush mode is where this game really challenges you. The graphics are sound are fantastic. The story mode is there but I don't recommend it. Play online and enjoy it. Just remember that the learning curve is high.

Battlefield 3 is a great multiplayer game . Very competitive and the maps are absolutlely awesome. I am beyond delighted with it.

So, it was black friday and i wanted a new game. half off on both assassin's creed and battlefield. I decided to get it. This game is awesome. I love the team work(when you have friends that play it). I love the big maps and different multiplayer games that are with it. I feel more stratigic when playing this game compared to MW3. I am not going to lie, but call of duty really stunk this year. And thank god for battlefield which saved me from the horribleness. If you like a cool story mode, but really are in it for the multiplayer, this game is for you. if you like team work and working together with your friends, this game is for you. If you like just camping with a sniper at one end of the map and shoot the enemy while hiding in a bush, this game is for you! I recommend this game! best FPS game i played so far. ALSO, when you first go onto multiplayer, you will die a lot, the same thing happened to me and all you need to do is play the game for a couple hours and get the hang of it and you will do fine. Also the team deathmatch is annoying compared to MW3.

I've played both BF3 and MW3 and while there are some game play mechanics that I miss when moving from MW3 to BF3, I find the overall experience much more enjoyable. Single player is vast and detailed, and I feel involved in a story that matters, as oppose to along for the ride in a Michael Bay film. Both of these games' main event is the multiplayer experience. Here is where the real contrasts stand out too. There is a frantic-ness to MW3 where it feels like the number one winner is the one who holds the trigger longer and gets lucky with their spawns. In BF3 the majority of the games available are tactical in nature, and the game play reflects that: don't shoot unless you have a clear shot because you'll give away position and that matter here. The addition of vehicles could've created a lopsided play, but they appear balanced -- just an additional layer to the combat. Upgrade mechanics are both challenging and rewarding. The one place I've been really disappointed in is the co-op, and its because you can't play it locally.

Personally I think it is way better than MW3, and im a huge fan of COD, I just don't like buying the same game every year, and this game is the most unique and realistic game to date

Great game. Online game play is awesome. Only issue is the game is too dark. I had to lighten the contrast to be able to see. I also don't like the lazer sights in your eyes.

I lived on BF2 online for years but I'm not impressed with the multiplayer on bf3. New maps are great - no HUGE maps like the ones added to bf2. Menus SUCK. wayy too much to go through in changing things in MP. Difficult to play with friedns as a team. Maybe I just havent figured everything out yet but it seemed wayyyy easier in bf2. Great graphics and gameplay for the most part. Knifing is RUINED....

Such a great game, back when it came out, I played so much. Great maps, vehicles, guns and other many game elements.

10 times better than Modern Warfare 1, 2, or 3! Always something new and working as a team is much more entertaining than run and gun that Call of Duty gives you.
