This is my first go at a Battlefield game and having been a Call of Duty player for the last 6 years I've been getting bored with the same old game so to say the least I was blown away with Battlefield 4. The campaign was fun and intense for me I enjoyed it however the end could've used more of an ending. There is a huge learning curve in multiplayer especially going into a Conquest game play but if one stays with it beyond the first few frustrating games adaption happens rather quickly. Unlike Call of Duty there is no party so friends have to join your game session and getting paired up can take some time which can be a little fustrating. Also unlike CoD this game is ridiculously more true to life with recoil and bullet drop so sniping takes work to lead shots and adjust for distance. I love the option to adjust your gun/equipment class while your in the game and the option to choose spawn points. The vehicles are amazing while standing in the middle of it all you will see dog fights in the air and helicopters buzzing all around while the ground and building explode due to a tank battle. CoD is great for just shooting at each other, BF4 is great for teamwork and experiencing a battlefield in a war zone.

After investing 10+ hours into the game my multiplayer stats were reset to zero

This review is after all the fixes they did with all the glitches this game had(which is the worst I've ever seen in a game) now it is a great experience since just about everything is fixed and it plays the way it's supposed too, -this is a great shooter with dozens of weapons from assault rifles to launchers to snipers rifles, and there's about a dozen of equipment for you to choose from -This is a tactical shooter, with 32v32 player match so you can imagine that communication is key between your teammates -The single player is good, but it's just like cod, you play through it once and that's it -the multiplayer is where this game shines and it does a great job! If your new to battlefield, it's the exact opposite of call of duty Huge maps! generally slow paced action What this game does so well is the feel of an actual war zone, you have firefights going on ahead of you, tanks battling out on your far left, jets dogfighting above you, it's crazy! But the good kind Great multiplayer shooter! But IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INTERNET, THEN DO NOT GET THIS GAME! The multiplayer is where it's at, whereas the single player you'll get bored after the 1st playthrough

Still play few hours there and here in 2019. Bought it 6 months later after release. So I avoided the glitches and issues. Got a free premium in 2018. Everything about the game is great, guns maps and vehicle gameplay. Love the US attack helicopter gameplay.

I used to like Call of Duty a lot. I still like the story mode, but the online play has not been as good. BF4 in my opinion is way better. I love the options of getting into vehicles, helicopters, jets, tanks and so forth. Great graphics, and fun to play online also. Great first person shooter game!

Battlefield 4 for PlayStation 4 is an amazing game. Great campaign and great multiplayer and great graphics.

The game is really good, I a battle fields fan, love to play with friends is an epic game.

Battlefield 4 is the best shooter made for PS4 so far. Call of Duty does not hold a candle to this game. If you are looking for a game that involves tactics and team work, this is the game for you. The guns sound and look great, and the buildings crumble to the ground! If you are looking for a game that involves shooting a gun as much as you can and dying every 8 seconds, Call of Duty is the game for you.

Great game so much fun all the vehicles and I love to snipe

Great game. I had it for PS3 and I'm happy I got it on PS4. It looks amazing and plays so well. Smooth and fun. However, I'm a little sad because I paid $39.99 for the full game, when the PSN was selling the game plus all maps for the same price. Sucks, but whatever. That's how the market works. Fun game.

First off, I have never been a Battlefiled over Call of Duty fan. Battlefield 4 forever and ultimately changed my mind! BF4 is more than just a FPS. Online play can have you driving a tank, flying a jet, flying a bomber, being a sniper, being a medic, flying attack helicopters, and SO MUCH MORE! It is not just a go kill everything with ridiculous kill streaks game. Being a sniper accounts for REAL skills vs. No-Scope skulduggery. Bullet drop, distance, etc... This is a great game for a dying genre. Campaign is pretty rubbish, but that's not the intent of the game!

Well they have gotten past the glitches from the PS3 version.. playing 32 vs 32 is all out war.. Its not for the weak..

This game exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The graphics are superb and the multiplayer experience is like none other with vast load outs, destructible environments, etc. With Battlenet, you can even track and make changes to your character with a mobile smart phone. This I use frequently since the menus in game can be a little overwhelming and confusing.

It's a great game has a few bugs here and there. Graphics are pretty cool. Different from call of duty. Bf multiplayer is more slow pace, can't really rush yourself in a game like this, and well the maps are larger

The game had a rocky launch and many people were disappointed by it. EA has fixed most bugs and the game plays very smoothly. Campaign is really short, it's ok. Multiplayer is fun, as always.

This game is awesome and I would totally recommend it.

I just got this game because I heard great things about it. Graphics and game play are great !!! This is my first PS4 game and I am not disappointed!

This game is truly the future of war games. I used to be a hardcore call of duty fan, don't get me wrong i still love the franchise, but I think Battlefield 4 took the crown this time around. The amount of things you can do in actual gameplay is truly amazing. It will change the way you play games I promise, It is worth it. If you are a war game fan, this is a must have. if you are a casual fan this is a must try. The graphics and gameplay will blow your mind.
