Customers are saying

Customers love Battlefield 4's engaging gameplay, immersive story, and realistic action. Many praise the game's campaign, diverse vehicles, and ease of use, finding it enjoyable for both beginners and experienced players. However, some players experienced issues with bugs and glitches, and others noted the game's high storage requirements. Overall, the positive feedback on gameplay and features outweighs the negative comments regarding technical issues.

    Glitched, unplayable, constantly freezing...

I'm a big BattleField fan. I was excited for this installment of the series, but I did resist preordering. I bought it just a couple of days after it's release for the xbox 360 console. Playing through the campaign was okay. The story was lacking though & the ending was a little subpar in my opinion. After I finished it I discovered none of my campaign saves were registering for multiplayer unlocks. No biggie though. So after a few days of grinding online I begin to notice my xbox was freezing AT LEAST 4 times a day. It has been ever since I bought it. Checking the forums I found out it was happening across all platforms. Campaign glitching, freezing, rubber-banding, d/c's, disc errors, just to name a few. I know that all modern games will always have bugs at release, especially when the beta is only a few weeks long, but this is absolutely disappointing. Not being able to join friends in pre-game squads is a BIG issue. We all work and after a long day we usually hit each other up online but not with this game. Occasionally we can join up for a quick match but then boom, freeze - disconnect - restart - lobbies full. I was expecting bugs but nothing to this scale. If your looking to continue playing on the BattleField I suggest you wait AT LEAST 6 months then check the forums before buying the game and premium. As for me this game is probably going to be traded in until the next-gen bugs are fixed sometime around winter next year...

    First Battlefield game

I am a long time COD player and I decided to switch it up and try BF4. I noticed the shooting is much harder but more realistic. If your are looking for something different and more real then COD I would try this. The graphics don't seem as good as the commercials and the lighting seems off a little. I will continue to play until COD comes out and have better judgement but as of now i'm looking forward to the new COD.

Same thing as bf3 basically. The graphics have been enhanced a bit and the storyline is great. The multiplayer experience is still the same though.

Better than COD's multiplayer and campaign mode

I don't know why everyone else is complaining for. The only reason why it lags is because xbox cannot comprehended all that power that frostbite uses. Although there should be offline split screen and bots. That's the only thing I don't like about it. Other wise it's awesome

The game is a lot of fun to play. The graphics are of the highest quality. Just be warned that some of what they claim for premium is not what you are purchasing. You are told that you will be automatically at the top of the waiting queue for multiplayer. Well there is no waiting queue. You just get server is full and have to keep trying. You are supposed to be able to play the expansion packs before non premium members. This seems to not be the case. The first expansion pack was due to be out for premium players 3 days ago and you still cannot play any of the new maps. Yet, EA and Dice state China Rising has been released to premium players. In Reality this is not the case. For the game plus premium you will pay over $100.00 with no advantages.

Won't play on an XBOX 360 slim

It will not load on a xbox 360 slim. EA techs told me that they received a lot of on line chats about the game not loading, but they still refused to give a refund. They said I must go buy a separate hard drive. The sale people at the store did not know it requires a separate hard drive. They said to just go delete all my games. It still didn't work when I had 2.8 GB free memory.

The online gameplay lags continually when combat is close, multiplayer menu does not reflect options selected, gameplay score does not reflect frags at times, I suggest keep playing BF 3 or buy a sony
