Not the biggest fan of Battlefield, but the destructible environments, 64 player battles online, and vehicles still give you a good bang for your buck.

This game can't be compared to a Call of Duty, which is a small scale shooter. Battlefield takes large battlefields, equipped with a diverse array of vehicles, as well as infantry, and lets you loose. Although it was plagued with issues at the beginning, the game is truly spectacular now. There are dynamic events that can change the map, multiple ways to play if one way is becoming tiring some, and many game modes to enjoy if you don't enjoy one specifically. I find Battlefield 4 a great experience because there are so many ways to play that will make it a constantly great experience to continue on. Play straight up infantry, be a medic, be a sniper, be an anti-vehicle or pro-vehicle engineer, drive a tank, fly a helicopter, pilot a jet, drive a attack boat. There are so many ways to play. and that makes it a great experience for everyone who enjoys a modern shooter.

I'm a fan of the Battlefield series. I converted from COD after COD-MW2 and never looked back. COD-Ghost is good...but its not BF4. Anyways, my kids enjoy both BF4 and COD-Ghost. I enjoy the intense and fast gameplay. The large maps and the use of the Kinect. The vehicles are awesome and the sound is phenomenal. BF4 Next-Gen is only gonna get better...!!! Battlefield is a great game. It's easy to pick up, but there is so much to do and learn. The graphics are great and there is always something cool to do, flying, driving, shooting, fixing vehicles, healing players, disarming bombs, planting them, etc. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different from the typical yearly Call of Duty titles.

This game bring online multiplayer to a new level. Everything is so realistic. I find myself forgetting how long I've been into a session!

Now that the online multiplayer works, I can highly recommend it to shooter fans. The single player experience however should definitely be avoided.

Despite the bugs that have plagued the game for some when it is up and running it is a console multiplayer experience like no other. The game is beautiful and the gameplay is very smooth even with the huge maps and mass numbers of players. DICE has continued to fix the bugs as time has passed and further DLC will only make the game better.

This game is great and I would recommend it to everyone..

I'm seriously regretting buying this junk and going to try and return it. First off, the game has "forgot" to save my campaign and lost it twice losing hours of game play. The graphics were amazing but the story seemed hacked together and all over the place story wise. It didn't take long to beat as expected, but even at it's hardest difficulty you can breeze through the game. The online is TERRIBLE to say the least. The pace and layout of the maps makes it a haven for campers. For the most part any good gamers are far and few between. It's either campers and snipers or people going insanely negative k/d ratios. When trying to join a game half the time it says I can't connect to the server or it times out. Then half the time when it does join it sits at the black screen with the flashing box in the corner until you eject the disc. EA has given us a huge pile of garbage that was rushed for profits. Shouldn't be surprised since EA said they could make $90 plus off each gamer and announced map packs before the game came out. DICE may of had good intentions but they gave everyone garbage. Maybe COD is the same old thing with tweaks, but it's solid and you know what to get for the most part. BF4 is a thrown together, profit only joke. The graphics are great and that's where it ends. Rent before you buy this and save yourself the hassle. Cliffs- Story mode short, thrown together, easy on hard, issues saving campaign. Online has good graphics and that's it. Feels chunky and rushed. Maps seem like they just wanted to meet a deadline and rip off everyone on the map packs. Lags out, server and connection issues.

the game is ok, it's fun to play for a while but after that its just meh

I was deciding between this game and Ghosts and I am very happy that I chose BF4. The 64 player matches are incredibly fun and the landscape is full of detail. I love how unlike in any of the CoD games, in BF4 you really benefit from working with your squad members and building a strategy in order to win. It's not just a run and gun game, although it can still be very fast paced.

The single player is nothing to write home about, while it was fun and keep me playing till the end. The COD series is still king. Battlefield is more about epic moments witch is does very well but in between these moments it's lack luster duck and cover. The online is a joke, in the few months I've been playing my Xbox One I've been able to get onto EA servers 1 time. Every other time I get the same EA servers must be down message even if I try continuously to connect. It's fun if you get get into a game and makes it worth the price of the game alone but with issues.

Good Gameplay and Singeplayer campaign, but the multi-player is a huge hassle.

So overall it is a good game. Without going into painfully long detail, there are a couple of things I don't like about it. The main one is that the game seems to say "Hey, I see you are in a party/group with your friends. You probably don't want to be on the same squad or team, so I will place you randomly as I feel like it. I may not let you switch teams though if the game is full or will become unbalanced by the act." Also, it is hard to tell if you are actually in the group or not before loading the game. Other than that, it is pretty minor complaints here and there.

At first this game was unplayable. Now the game is really good. I really like the destruction on buildings over period of time.

I heard about all the bugs in the gameplay and muliplayer. I started playing this game in January and by that time, it seems all the issues have been fixed. I have not encountered any problems. It's a great multiplayer shooter.

Where do I begin? First thing, after playing all weekend went back to play next weekend and my saved game was gone?! I figured maybe a small glitch and a one time occurrence. Nope. This game does not save on a regular basis, taking you back to the beginning. Contacted customer support only to find out this is a know issue with no fix. Online game is also not enjoyable. Unable to join game, rubber banding, at times hits have no effect, delayed damage. These are just some of the common bugs there are many more. There was a big rush to get this finished for the new console launches and it shows. This has more bugs than any beta I have played. A Google search for "Battlefield 4 bugs" will reveal these and many more not mentioned. If I could return this game I would. It has given me more frustration than enjoyment. I will not be playing this game again until bugs are fixed, if even then. Do not buy this game until bugs are fixed.
