I had never played the Bayonetta games before, but was looking for something new to play on the Switch. Turns out, this is a female version of Devil May Cry, which is pretty fun.

Nice to have these two games on the Switch. Would have liked some sort of debug menu for both games. But, ah well. I guess I'm playing through these games again.

Got this at a good deal. Thought it was worth it because it game with the original game as well. It's ok. Kinda weird.

Fun game for the switch and the added bonus of the original game is enjoyable and gives added value to the purchase.

A very average hack and slash type game. Personally not a fan of this art style but other people might like it.

I do enjoy the hack-and-slash games, but Bayonetta never kept me wanting to play.

This game is pretty much a lot of button smashing. I got bored after only a few hours.

Bayonetta 2 begins right where the first one end, so if you want to know the whole history you will have to play the first one, which is very easy, given that this game came with Bayonetta 1. The Game is an amazing hack and slash that doesn't take itself too seriously, this combined with a great list of character, a very satisfying fighting and a decent amount of different weapons, make this game a must have if you like the sexy Umbra Witch. Pros: * Amazing environment's and characters * Huge over the top fights * Great score system that keep you replaying * Great Soundtracks * Huge bosses * Online mode is quite interesting and allow you to buy all your stuff Cons: * Very often the fights turn into a mess and you have to rely on random button pressing * Difficulty can spike really high then goes back to hold handing * Because the missed Muspelheim portals you will very often have to backtrack which is very annoying. * Enemy's can feel a little repetitive from time to time (more if you just played the first Bayonetta) * Tons of invisible walls (classic Platinum Games) * Some Weapons can feel a little useless in comparison

Wasn't sure whether to buy this game or not, if it was going to be my style. Heard people recommending since it was announced for Switch but didn't purchase until Black Friday. I am so glad I did, definitely worth the price. If you have never played this game, you have to try it out. While the game design, art direction, and voice acting seems good from the outside, the best part of this game is the gameplay. It's a game you just have to try for yourself because it cannot be explained through just words. I would have liked physical versions of both games but not a big deal. That just means you get extra points and the ability to play it anytime without switching cartridges. At least the artwork is reversible so you can chose between Bayonetta or Bayonetta 2 covers
