I am currently using the product as a rear view mirror when transporting my boat. It works nice in situations of when backing the boat into spaces so I have a better idea behind me, what it is actually intended for. When using it as a mirror, vehicles appear far to distant to have a fair gauge as to how many vehicles are behind me, and if they are riding my A..., or if I have emergency vehicles behind me. The image from the camera, as I said, is greatly distorted. Probably optimal for backing up, but is really grainy, and studders a great deal no matter where I place the transmitter. I had to 3D print a mounting bracket to fir my application. Maybe I am not fair in my rating, but I would expect a little more variety in usage coming from a company of this magnitude, and much smoother video. Night time, make sure you have a bright light. Very poor in low light conditions.

This unit works fine and is really helpful backing at night.

setting the camera view is a bit tricky, but the install was easy.

This backup camera is powered by your backup lights and when used in conjunction with a later model GPS like the Garmin Highway 65 it alleviates the blind spots you would have if you were trying to backup without it. It is recommended that an experienced tech should install this unit and I would strongly agree.

This is a great backup camera. We had looked at another brand but it required a separate screen. The Garmin camera hooks right in to the Garmin GPS we were already using. No need to try and find room for 2 screens or switching between the 2. The backup camera quality of picture isn’t stellar but very adequate for the job needed,

Bought this camera to replace a low cost wireless backup camera I got from Costco. That camera had a very large unit on the rear of car, and worked for about a month. This one is much better, unobtrusive, good resolution, and has been very reliable. Well worth it

the cord is short so expect to have to order an extension from garmin unless you drive a compact! but has great quality easy setup and install and connects to garmin navigation easy!

Easy to sync with my garmin, pretty good picture quality

Be sure to read the instructions on this one. I had it professionally installed and they could not get it to work. It must use the included cable. After I figured that out I love it.

Its was nice to add camera to my Garmin NUVICam GPS.

Easy to self install. Connected immediately to the GPS.
