Cannot keep them working beyond a few weeks of use

I am trying to get service help now on the most recent set, well within the warranty period, but two out of two worries me. I also dislike the way they interact with my iPhone, with a special mini-popup that is often slow to appear, reflecting their generally lengthy wake-up and connect period. It is like they are `special' in that entitled sense of the person from well-off parents who has not really earned their superior self-ranking. When they work, they are similar to many others in this sadly limited field of bluetooth but wired together earbuds.
