Disappointed with the volume level

I didn’t want to spend $200 bucks for the Beats Pro or AirPods. I got these in a price match for $35. Glad I didn’t pay full price. The sound is nowhere near as loud as the others. I was very disappointed. For context I am hearing impaired. I have used other ear buds and usually have to put them near around 80-90 percent volume to hear some podcasts comfortably. I put these Beats at full blast and could barely make out those podcasts I listen to. Not loud at all. I gave up on the podcasts. The neck loop is more rigid than I prefer as its a harder plastic that keeps it form. I have a big neck (19.5”) and the loop was snug enough it was just a bit uncomfortable while running. Overall not what I was expecting and still considering returning since I can’t really use them for the intended purpose I bought them for.
