Inexplicable audio issues when using with PC

However, I have only had them a month and in the past week or so they have started randomly cutting out sound when connected to my computer. To be clear, they still show up as connected on my PC and the media I'm listening to is still playing - the sound just inexplicable cuts out until I disconnect and reconnect these headphones. For that reason, I can't recommend them. It's a shame the headphones I preferred were discontinued; I'm basically stuck with these now and they are deeply flawed. Buyer beware.

Why change the charger?

It’s not a normal lightning cable like all the other beats I’ve had. It’s like an android type usb. My dell computer charger works for these. I think that was a mistake to make and a mistake on my part for not researching the product more but they pulled a fast one on me lol.
