He was ecstatic to receive them as he had wanted some Beats headphones for sometime now. He uses them with his iPad to watch YouTube. He says they are awesome. They agreat for me as well because I don’t hear what he is listening to. It’s a win for all of us.

Underwhelming Experience with Solo³

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to get my hands on the Beats Solo³ in Matte Black, but unfortunately, they fell short of expectations. Right out of the box, the headphones felt somewhat flimsy, not what I anticipated for the price. After extended use, the on-ear design became noticeably uncomfortable, pressing too tightly and making it impossible to use them for the whole day as I intended. While the sound quality was decent, it did not blow me away, especially in the bass department, which is traditionally a Beats hallmark. I also experienced occasional connection drops in wireless mode, which was quite frustrating during my daily commutes. The battery life is robust, I'll give them that. However, the overall experience didn't match the hype nor the price point of these headphones. I had much higher expectations from a brand like Beats and feel quite let down.
