Excellent noise cancelling and sound. The only slight difference maybe 0.2 percent against Bose, was Bose headphones sounds were crispier, but that's it. You wouldn't regret getting this headphone.

Nice Headphones for noise avoidance

They are good for what the person they were purchased for. He loves them so that's all that really matters. Me personally I don't use them so i couldn't say much. But they are extremely loud.
