Provides a Solid Connection for audio use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a whole of things to mention about this neat audio adapter. Product webpage on Best Buy sez for Apple iPhone 7s and above but box sez iPhone 7 to iPhoneX. if you like to store your music library on an iPhone and/or stream a music service or listen to podcast while driving or at home, this a great accessory. My vehicles don’t have 3.5 mm jacks but my Polk Magnify Mini Sound System does. And I have seen some Bluetooth wireless speakers with AUX ports on the back of them. There are also a lot of PC’s with a headphone jack. Sound quality might not be that great tho. I do appreciate the expanded sound options of using a home sound system instead of just relying on using a wireless or corded headset on my mobile phone. Sometimes it can take a little bit of effort to get Bluetooth going. Wired connections are rock solid in general. Good accessory to have just in case it’s needed.

Works as expected
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cable works just as expected. I have an iPhone 7 that lacks the headphone jack. Although apple provided an adapter with the phone that can be used to connect your headphone, aux cable etc but it was a pain to carry it with you all the time. I almost always forget to take it with me while driving, so I have to rely on the bluetooth to connect with my car stereo which is not a big of a deal. The only problem I face is the lag between the audio from my phone and the car system. For example while using youtube, there's a lag of almost 2-3 seconds. This Belkin Lightning-to-3.5 mm Audio Cable has solved this problem. This is a big plus for the people that have car without the bluetooth technology. I had a long road trip last week (11+ hours each way) and I used this cable all the way during the drive. I never noticed any quality drop in the sound. I've tried it with few different system with no difference in sound quality. Other good thing about it is the color. I got a black version. The apple's white cables gets dirty easily. The cable comes in two different lengths: 3' & 6' with later being $35 ($6 more expensive than the other). I got the 3' version which was more than enough for me. Some people might find it a bit expensive. It is certified by Apple under its MFi Program. Hence the high price. I would definitely recommend this cable to everyone who has an iPhone 7 or above.

Too steep for such limited use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a special use cable for when you have the latest phone but your stereo doesn’t support Bluetooth or you just don’t want to sync the iPhone to your stereo. The cable is simple and works completely as intended. It’s small enough that you can just leave it in the car without creating a lot of clutter. It doesn’t feel enforced enough to last a long time and feels as flimsy as most cheap charger cables. However, the price is well out of the range that I feel it is worth. Though slightly more complicated it is actually cheaper to use the lightning-to-3.5mm adapter and a standard aux cable. With both of those cables they can be used for other purposes as a standard aux cable can be used for devices that still have headphone jacks and the 3.5mm adapter can let you use headphones unlike this cable is only for iPhone 7 and up to aux. For just a little bit more you can get the adapter that allows you to use a standard aux cable and the charger at the same time.

Just Does It's Job
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My truck is an older model that does not have the Auto or CarPlay apps in it, but it does have a aux input. This cable enables my to use my iPod Touch to listen to my playlists while driving to work. The sound is clear and is better than Bluetooth on my other sound speakers. If you need an audio connection better than Bluetooth, this is your cable!

Good cord, does what it's supposed to
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cord does just what you want. Easy to use out of the box, no install or anything. It will connect your new iphone (w/o a headphone jack) to a set of headphones (that has a removable cord) or to an AUX jack in a car or other audio device input. Cord seems average durability, no heavy-duty braiding or anything. It has a 3mm male end, so you other device must have the opposite. Good cord overall.

Just What I Needed!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly what I needed yet didn't know even existed! This allows me to use my iPod or iPad with the stereo in my car. The stereo has a 3.5mm input. Needless to say, Apple's proprietary cords can be a bit of an issue at times. This allows you to connect your Apple products to most legacy stereos and works perfectly!

Durable and Easy To Use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the lightning to audio cable recently and it’s great. In the car I was holding out from getting the adapter for AUX cables because I didn’t want to lose it. This is easy to carry and use with my wireless speakers as well. The audio comes through crisp and clean which is most important.

Use this not the apple dongle
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this as my go to travel adapter for my iphone. There are too many times that I have brought an aux cord but forgot my lightning to aux dongle at home. This cable makes me only worry about one cable, saves space in my travel bag, which results in less headaches. Simple, and it works.

Great for the purpose
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cable allows me to connect to my aux input in my car or home stereo thru my I-device with Lightning connector only. No real downside except would be nice to have a splitter to be able to charge at the same time.

Great 3.5mm to lightning connector
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lets me use my iphone x and pandora in my car without bluetooth. Does what it advertises, only con is the cord seems a little small and easily breakable would like to see it be a bit thicker but overall good purchase.

Works great. Well made.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although my car allows for a Bluetooth connection, I found this cable provides an easier, faster, and more reliable connection. It’s well made and worth the price. It’s also just the right length for use in the car!

The cable you need for sound for older systems...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cable is a standard Belkin quality cable. It delivers the expected compatibility and performance of Apple type products as well. It works really great in small spaces such as your car or for older style stereo systems that audio in but don't have Bluetooth or anything more modern. The sound delivered is good but not great. It gives you basically what you have with the device but it is not the cable for robust enthusiasts. It does what you expect and just works. I would recommend it if you have an Apple device and you want a way to get the sound to play through an older system.

Just what I needed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Belkin lightning to 3.5 mm audio cable was just what I needed. My wife has an iPhone 8 and her company truck is not equipped with Bluetooth as it is an older vehicle. There were not many choices since the iPhone 8 does not have a headphone jack and she constantly loses the adapters that I buy her lol. It worked flawlessly and now she's jamming her Pandora again. My only downside it could have been a little longer.

Good product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Always satisfied with belkin products. This cord comes in handy. Even though Bluetooth is pretty much everywhere sometimes a cord connection is better. I used it with my Bluetooth speaker, I used it on my alarm radio, I also tested it in my car. No connection issues. It’s good to know I have it.

Excellent upgrade
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This audio cord worked great with our new iPhone 8. There were no issues with the sound or functions. We use it in our Honda Pilot on trips all the time. I would have liked the cord to be longer than 3’ but it’s not really a henderence.
