I bought this router to replace a NETGEAR router that stopped working. I especially liked the simplicity of the set-up and connection to all of my existing devices on my home wireless network. I have had a smooth connection ever since.

The router was easy to set up and get going again I thought it was a good value

Please note this review is not towards Best Buy, but solely towards Belkin. I recently upgraded my internet speeds and was having issues with this Belkin Wireless Router reaching its full potential in speed. After talking to my service provided, it had been narrowed down that this router was the issue. I reached out to Belkin Tech Support for troubleshooting. They asked some initial questions about the router and when I purchased. Being it so late at night and trying to get everything working I made a guess when I purchased the router and stated 2-3 years. As soon as I stated this, Belkin informed me that this device was out of warranty and that I needed to purchase a post warranty in order for any troubleshooting to begin. The worst part when I tried to explain to them that I just needed assistance with adjusting the settings on the router so it reached full potential speed, they kept talking over me. When I asked them to stop and listen to me, they kept going. I finally asked for a manager to be put on the phone and was told the manager was busy and that he would inform me the same thing. I let them know I would wait. After waiting a while, finally got to speaking to the manager and was of course informed the same thing and again when I tried to explain to him all that I was attempting to do he kept speaking over me. Being in quality myself at a company, I would have to say Belkin lacks EXTREMELY and as I told the manager reviews online for their Tech Support are the lowest of lows. And what they did to me I would never buy Belkin and would inform everyone I know. I mean why would you trust a company that won’t even back there product after a 2 year warranty. Funny thing is, I found the purchase date on this router and it had only been a 1 year since I bought it. So apparently Belkin can’t tell when their product was purchased nor when warranty expires, they rely solely on the customer’s memory and if you say the wrong thing guess what you need to buy a post warranty if you need help from them. On another note, I did correct the issue myself on this router and it was an easy fix. If this router is not reaching full internet potential all you have to do make sure Intellistream is switched off. This can be accessed by going to the router settings. Great and fast router just wish the range was a little further

I bought this router after my previous belkin started acting up. I really wanted a router that could give me a better signal but I was unable to find it in this one. Its a decent buy but I decided to turn it back in and go with a netgear for my home needs. Wanted a stronger signal.

works well when streaming and when using multiple devices

So far no issues or hard resets which is a plus in my book.

I frequently had connection problems with my old router, sometimes loosing connections while on line. I have not had these problems since installing this unit.

WE got this because the cable modem wifi had no good range. This unit works well, but location is key. Makes sure it is close to the most used rooms and test locations for bad spots to avoid. It is VERY easy to set up.

easy set up and I love the screen mirroring ...works well with my Samsung tablet ...still learning all the bells and whistles but otherwise well satisfied
