There are a lot factors that would cause weak wireless signal. These are:
· Distance problems
· Physical obstructions
· Wireless interferences
· Outdated firmware on the router
· Power outage

Good router!

So far I can watch Netflix on HD. Good product, very happy with it.

The good thing is the router installs without any hassles and works great, no disconnection issue so far (I've been using it for almost a month now). The not so great functions are: I found that the signal strength is not as good as I expected. It drops significantly over 4 feet range. It still functions, but the strength of the connection if you are in another room, is sometimes too weak to let a descent video call from Skype for example. Also I was excited about the fact that you can plug your USB external hard disk to this router and use it wirelessly, but I was greatly disappointed by the slowness of that connection. Reaching your external harddisk from the wireless router is neat but it is inhibitively slow. FInally, overall I find this router to be a good choice.

At night when we are streaming on either netflix or vudu they seem to buffer a lot (but only at night and only on our upstairs TV in our bedroom) Our router is also in our bedroom so it's weird thats the tv that buffers a lot. So it makes me believe it has less to do with the router and more to do with my internet provider.
