I took me a few phone calls to set up with my wireless provider as compared to the Cisco just automatically installed and connected.

However, I am not sure if it's my network providers problem or not, it gets reset and disconnected from time to time and that's extremely annoying. My service is charter spectrum. I never have such issues with ATT U verse with their supplied wireless modem, so I am not sure it's the network or this router. Also, the range is only slightly better than my old wireless, by exactly about 3-4' further before there's no more connectivity. So overall my experience has been disappointed with choppy connections and a range that's not very much improved vs a cheaper model

Thank you for sharing your experience with the router. For isolation, connect your computer straight to the modem. If the connection is stable, dropping connection could be caused by some interferences in your area that affects the router's performance.
Try setting a fixed wireless channel on both networks. Change it to channel 1, 6 or 11 for the 2.4 GHz network and channel 36, 40, 44 or 48 for the 5 GHz network.
