This isn't my first router, and I was prepared to spend a lot of time setting it up. The Belkin is the closest thing to "plug and play" I've ever used. Good range, starts up quickly every time I need it.

I had to return it within a week :( I pretty much only use my PS4, SmartTV, and iPhone on it. I live alone so it's not like there was too much action being pushed through the router. My internet speed is 100Mbps, I never got past 75Mbps with this router, even using a wired set up. PROS: Super easy to set up 2 Year Warranty CONS: Pushes through a weird range of speeds, none of which are at max Wired set up is actually slower than the wireless In case you're wondering, yes...I did a lot of troubleshooting with Belkin as well as my internet provider & both confirmed that my internet & modem were just fine. The router went as slow as 12Mbps at times! Out of 100! I went ahead & re-connected my old Netgear. It's 4 years old but is giving me speeds of 110Mbps wireless & 120Mbps wired. Never came close to that with this Belkin.

In reading up on things it is a known issue with Belkin routers which requires updating to old versions of firmware and some other things I didn't think it was worth messing with. I retuned it and got a Linksys and have had no problems with it.

If your cable guy hooks it up for you when you don't have your computer...not so much fun. Got it all sorted out finally and no problems since! Follow directions and you shouldn't have a problem.
