Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Experiencing slow wireless connection could be caused by interference in your area. The placement of your wireless device is the key to having a good signal from your router. Place your router in an open and strategic area since this device uses radio waves to communicate. You can also set a fixed wireless channel to your network. You may have it on channel 1, 6 or 11 for the 2.4 GHz network and channel 36, 40, 44 and 48 for the 5 GHz network. My Linksys router died and he said this was just as good as the Linksys. Not even close. Doesn't even send a signal to my bedroom which is 20 feet away. Couldn't return it so I ended up having to buy an extender to get the signal to reach the bedroom and the basement. Would not recommend.

In a single story home. We typically had 3 items going at once and the speed was very slow, so we returned router, and upgraded.
