Neighboring wireless networks or any appliance that operates on the same frequency as your wireless device could cause interference affecting your wireless connection and signal. Tweaking the router’s wireless channel is a good move to reduce interference. The preferred wireless channels to use are 1, 6, and 11 since they’re considered non-overlapping channels.

Antenna is week and I had a difficult time connecting it to some of the computers in my office. I spent over an hour on the phone with tec. support and they couldn't get it to connect to the laptop we have running Vista. When I ran a ping and speed test it performed at the same speed as the 10 year old router I was replacing!!!!!!! Don't waste your money buy a NETGEAR! I bought a NETGEAR N600 for another company and connected 13 computers and phones with ease and high speeds! When I was returning this router I complained about its performance and the associate said "Get a NETGEAR." I told her I was already going get one!

Disappointing at beast

Disconnects from network and needs to be hard reset way too often and coverage is subpar for an N600. This is unlike Belkin products which usually are very good. Spend you money elsewhere.

For media streaming, it is recommended to connect your streaming device to the 5 Ghz network. This network is commonly used for usage that requires uninterrupted throughput.
