    Not for VOIP

The Good: Very easy to install and use. Router works OK. I can connect to the internet and upload and download content fine. Transfer speed accross network is OK. The Bad: I'm not sure how the router internally prioritizes activity, but VOIP does not seem to be at the top. I have no way to verify or configure it because there isn't a QOS screen available in the router configuration. My VOIP calls are now choppy at times and the people I speak to often complain of the call breaking up. Will be replacing soon.

Very quick and easy to set up. This is my second Belkin - N600 Dual-Band Wireless-N+ Router, so it works the way I expected it to...had to replace the other one due to damage during a move.

    Easy to setup

Although I ended up just using this router as an access point it was very easy to setup. There is a menu option to easily configure it as an access point. The 2.4ghz band was strong throughout the house but I had to purchase the Belkin Dual-Band Range Extender to take advantage of the 5ghz band if you have devices far from the router. Materiel quality is a bit on the cheap side but so far I've had no issues.

i also found this router a pain to set up and not user friendly at all ..the best way to use this is turn it on and let your computer find it then use the belkin ip address to configure your settings.192.168.2.1..then you have the fun of dealing with the router setup and configuring that they have made more difficult than it needed to be. 40 seconds to apply any changes then if you dont remember to log out you cant log back on it and i found the self healing would screw up my computers with windows 7 every time it ran..thus the reason not to use the cd it puts belkin wireless manager on your computer and now you have two things trying to run your wireless and with my windows 7 computers the self healing would change settings and my computers wouldnt recognize any internet so id have to reset my adapter on the computer to get it working again..i did get it all figured out and the range is very good but if you dont know anything about networking then this router may not be for you..

Live out on Amelia Island so not much wi-fi to steal. This unit covered the back of the house pretty well for our tablets and computers. After about 1 year of use it just quit. Probably going to trade for another Belkin wireless router.

    Worst Investment Ever, Can't Return.

I think it's impossible to review a wireless router because each one is going to respond differently in different environments. But my struggle with this one has been nothing short of frustrating. The initial setup was easy if you just plan to use a phone and a laptop and don't care about what speed you're getting. For the first few hours, while attempting to set up and customize the router, it would drop the internet connection after every single little change. Randomly 24 hours later it stopped doing this. I went from using a 6 year old Linksys WRT54G to this and performance went down. The dual band wireless is useless. I have a 30 MB connection. The hardwired connection gets like 20-25, when i was getting right around 30 before, and right at 30 with a direct modem connection. The router refuses to work when enabling QOS for gaming. You cannot prioritize your connections. My wifi on my ps3 went from 8-10 MB with an old piece of equipment to right at 4 MB. Streaming anything now is impossible. It's sad that a company can charge this much for a piece of known faulty equipment. I'm now attempting to sell on Craigslist as I am going to revert to my old router and run a 25 ft cable. Getting wireless is suppose to help out with not having to run cables, but for $15 I could have gotten the same performance for that price. I cannot return this b/c of Best Buy's return policy. What a joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.

This router worked awesome. But a couple of glitches coupled with my short temper ended the life of this bad boy. Hand meets router. Router meets floor. I'm 1000% percent sure if I just waited till my GF got home, she would have fixed it. But this did work fine. The speed was awesome. I've since upgraded to an AC router. But this was best N+ router I had used.

After struggling with a netgear router (approx $59 at BestBuy) for an hour or more, and not being able to access the netgear website described in the manual, I brought it back and picked up a Belkin N600 (approx $69). Using ONLY their Fast Start Guide, I had it up in 4 minutes. Note: My Fios Actionet Wireless Router does not have the magic 'find me' button.

This is my second Belkin N-600. I have one at another location that works so well that I bought another one when a previous router malfunctioned. It sets up automatically and works as advertised, with better-than-advertised coverage throughout the house. The best router is an invisible route and that is what this one is. Once installed, I never give it a thought.

This router is fast enough and great for watching movies on netflix, listening to music, downloading, and playing CoD. Unfortunately, it cant handle to many of those at the same time. I can watch a show on my computer and my girlfriend can watch something in the other room. However, I can't add gaming or downloading into the mix without bogging down one or the other.

I have an Mac AirPort modem, but my new internet service provider couldn't support it, even the tech was stumped. So after reading several reviews I decided to try this modem. It was pretty easy to get it up and running and provides a strong signal all over my house. Very happy with it

    A little bumpy at first

A little bumpy setting it up at first, so I called the 800 number from the product and ended up speaking with a foreign lady who i could hardly understand. She wanted alot of personal information which I didn't give, I only needed help setting up the router. Did not care for this at all. Ended up hanging up with her and doing it on my own, which I finally got done, now the router works great. This is my second belkin router, my first lasted years, long after it should've died. Not sure if Belkin is an american company, but next time i buy a router I will check first. In short, unless you speak other languages, don't expect customer service.

It has worked flawlessly since we got it installed. The setup process was a hit difficult but I think it was due to some internal computer settings, not the router itself. We had to call tech support and me and my wife are both computer savy. We very pleased with it now, though.
