    Worst Router Ever!

I purchased this router a few months back and have been regretting my decision ever since. I would continually lose signal strength and some of my devices became almost unusable. I knew it had to be this router because it was the only thing that changed. I was hoping that an update would fix these issues, however the firmware upgrade process is flawed. Even a manual upload of the firmware gives you an error saying it is the wrong format, even though I downloaded it specifically from where the site instructed me. After replacing this router with a Linksys, my digital life seems complete again. If you want to enjoy your wireless experience, I would suggest not trying to save money in this area.

I've bough this router 2 month ago and i am 100% satisfied with it. the only problem was the installation. the software wasnt getting install properly so I had to call their 1800 number and I was on the phone with them 2 times for 20,30 mins each time talking to someone in India to get it to work! but other than that, its great. I can watch XHD movies and play Video games with highest wireless speed possible!

I bought this router in November 2013 to replace an older Linksys which had been very dependable. I had temporarily replaced the Linksys router with a newer router of a different brand which had lasted a little over a year and died suddenly. I returned to using my Linksys for a while before purchasing this Belkin - N600 Dual-Band Wireless-N+ Router. As I said it drops wifi signal often. I have cable internet so the incoming signal is very strong. The router is centrally located and I have a small home and sometimes the signal is weak and unpredictable at the far end of my house.

    Maybe I got a dud

I was having problems with my home gateway's wireless so I decided to hook up a router to it via the LAN port. I saw the Belkin on sale so I picked it up. It had nice features like a guest channel, desperate channels for b/g and n, USB port for backup or printing, it is a really cool device. I have hooked up several routers in my time and administrated several networks, home and business so hooking up the Belkin was a breeze. The admin page was straight forward with an easy ip. But once I got all me devices hooked up, that is when the problems started. I lost connectivity every 10-15 minutes. The only way I reconnected was to reset the router itself. I hooked up my laptop directly to the Belkin to perform some checks and lost connection then also. So even the LAN ports were losing connection! Not sure what caused the problems with my unit, maybe a power issue in the unit, maybe a faulty component somewhere in the device. My unit didn't work is the bottom line. When looking at other reviews on the net, it appears this is a problem that has happened to others as well. I suspect a manufacturing defect as there are many positive reviews as well. Instead of trying for another Belkin, I exchanged it for a NetGear that has worked out perfectly.

    Good Router, Range is average

This router is good, although, my previuos one that I had through verizon had a better range. I have installed on my first floor, and on the seocnd floor I can barely get a 3 bar signal on my computer. I used to be able to get a much stronger signal with my older one.

I installed this router behind the AT&T 2Wire modem/router. It was very easy and worked right the first time. I hooked our back up drive to it via the USB and it works fine. We also have a Sony Network Entertainment device that allows us wirelessly watch Netflix, ect. The 2Wire woyld ause buffering, where the Belkin does not. I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product.

This device was very easy to setup in my apartment. It replaced a Linksys WRTG54 router and although easy to set up I would say there is no difference in range or speed on my tablet or Playstation. I lose connection when two rooms away.

This router has easy installation, but poor performance. It is slow when loading pages or even loading pdf files that aren't too large. Many random drops in internet, and just unreliable.

    Terrible Router

I am constantly having to restart/reconnect the router several times per day. I have updated firmware, I have changed the channel....nothing works. I have called the Belkin support and dealt with an extremely rude and "poor English speaking" tech who just kept telling me my light should not blink blue......hence why I called him for support. My internet service provider has been out and there are no issues on their end. I wouldn't recommend this product to my worst enemy. JUNK!

I've had this router running a wired and wireless connection for the last couple months and it seems to be holding strong. The only hard part of it was setting up the darn thing with my comcast modem. Other then that it was worth it.

    Easy Setup / Works Fine

First, we had a Netgear equivalent router that kept dropping the internet connection. Netgear took forever to replace the router, so we went with the Belkin in the meantime. The Belkin was easy to set up, works great and does not drop the internet connection. The Netgear replacement finally arrived and is still in the box where it will stay for awhile. The Belkin's on-line product registration didn't work, but that's no big deal.

Works as it should. Had other name brands, but had intermitent cut offs, which required reboots. Not easy when away from home, and need access to my network. This works great.
