Belkin software said it couldn't connect to my cabel modem after several tries. called Belkin customer service. "Jimmy Smith" yeah right! He spoke with a strong indian accent and sounded like he was on a cell phone in a tunnel! They used log-in to install a program and run a diagnostic on my computer. Claimed that my connection is being stolen and they are being blocked out , but it could be fixed for a "nominal" fee. After asking several times he finally stated it would be $99. I told him I wanted to consult someone more knowledgable before making a decision. He got mad and stated you can take it to geek squad or someone else and they won't be able to fix it. I hung up on him, returned the belkin and bought a lynksis that installed with no problems. I did have to reinstall windows because their diagnostic program caused my computer to only start in safe mode and I couldn't stop it any way I tried.

Instructions were not very clear for a beginner. Needed to contact Technical Support to have them walk through the installation.

Wow. I never had a worse router. This router has problems staying connected to our Charter internet. Today i had to restart it a dozen times! I have tried everything-updated the firmware, tested different settings, etc., and it never seems to work for more than a few minutes. Our Internet and modem work fine(we even replaced the modem to be sure it was the router). Too bad we are outside the return window or else I have returned it already.Stay away from this router.

I bought this router a few days ago. I followed the setup directions, step by step. The router would not hook up so I called Belkin at the number provided in the setup CD. I held for 20 minutes and hung up. I called back, held for over an hour and they disconnected me. I connected to the online chat support and after holding for 45 minutes I was canceled. I finally found another number to call at the Belkin website and got a support person. We set up the router and it worked for about 10 minutes. It kept kicking my DirectTV whole house system offline. Then it kicked my computer offline. I finally boxed it up and will return it tomorrow. I bought a Netgear N600 elsewhere and it set up in about 5 minutes. Belkin lost a long time customer.

I had mine for about 7-8 months now is down because of the new firmware upgrade so I call for a replacement. I have try everything. I know i need a replacement. They still have me go over everthing 3-5 times. before they alow me to sent it in for a replacement.(2 hrs on the phone) call 3 times + 1 because they order me the wrong router :( Is a good router just make sure u don't need there phone tech support. I had mine connect to couple of desktop,iphones, laptop, tablet and a IP wireless camera.

I use it to connect another computer to the Internet. This allows me to get information I need for a project while working on the project. I don't have to keep opening a page then close it to open another etc. I also use it to connect my Kindle Fire to the Internet while relaxing in my chair in the living room.

I use this router in a basement office and have had no problems connecting wirelessly anywhere in the house, garage or in the yard. It is nice to be outside and be able to connect to the net or my desktop from anywhere around the house nad outside.

This product has been a disappointment for me. I've had two Linksys wireless routers that I've installed and used for several years with no issues. I thought I would try this Belkin because it had two nice features: 1) a Guest login account and 2) a wireless port. I had a technical issue when I installed the wireless router. I am technically proficient, but I rarely play around with system settings. For some reason the Belkin setup software could not change the system setting and I had to contact Belkin technical support. With the technician's help I was able to get the wireless router to work. However, it took the technician several minutes to come up with the solution. All the time, I felt that the technician wanted to be somewhere else and wanted to end the call ASAP. I have since found that the Guest login does not function as advertised. Also, the wireless port does not work as seamlessly I expected. So, I had difficulties installing the router and it does not provide the features that I wanted when I purchased the unit.

I bought on a budget and this product allowed me to play xbox without being limited by NAT. Other than that, solid product for the category it is in.

This router was an upgrade from a linksys router and I have found it to have a much larger footprint and the bandwidth is also much greater because of the dual band nature. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great N router.

We bought this to replace a lower priced, (perhaps less bandwidth?) router in the hope of getting a stronger signal (more "bars"). Very easy to set up and use. However, this router claimed to have a much larger range than our existing one, and to date we haven't really seen any difference, although we may be nevertheless be benefiting from the increased bandwidth.

WiFi is slow and unreliable. Product keeps prompting me to update the firmware and when attempts to do so fail every time, I even attempted to download the firmware update from the Belkin website and install it manually as directed by the tech support portion of Belkin's webpage with no success. I would avoid this product.

It was easy to install. Still working beautifully. Better than the previous cisco linksys router. 1 usb port is there for networked drive

Once hooked up I've had no problems though I was contacted by Belkin within 2 weeks to upgrade it or lose my signal.

Better than many other routers but required booster to give reliable signal.

While it's initially worked great it has an annoying problem for me. If we hibernate any of our PCs when we bring them back up they never connect right to the router. The signal shows like it's extremely low. We either have to totally restart our PCs or restart the router. I never had this problem with any other router. I'm going to have to take this back as it's annoying.

Having trouble with dual bands just connecting to the router. This is a goog product especially for the price

It has tendencies to lock up & drop connections. I am running pc's with XP, Vista, & Win7. When its working it works great with all of the OS's. I really like the 5 ghz connection. It supposedly has self correcting capabilities. I haven't seen that work yet. About once a day I need to bring it down & restart it. Kind of a pain. But when it is working it is amazing.

Had to replace an ancient DLink router. The Belkin was on sale, and it seems to fit my needs. Setting up the print function was a bit challenging, but once done, it's worked fine.

My lights just went off/ on in 1.2 seconds. everything powered back on except this router and it was connected to a surge protector along with other office equipment. So don't know what really happened. And my mom's did the same thing. So Im back to "Netgear" I had that one for 9 years before I replaced it with this Belkin. so they just lost a customer.
