This Belkin charging dock is excellent. It is solidly built and provides quick charging for the iPhone and Apple Watch.
The lightning tip that plugs into your i device moves up and down as well as back and forth via adjustment knob on back. This is very helpful because you will be able to adjust the lightning tip depending on the type of case you have. It will protrude up to about 1/2 inch to accommodate different cases.
Additionally it will flex back and forth about 45 degrees. I found this helpful because it reduces/eliminates the stress on the lightning port which was a concern I had. Well thought out design here.
The watch charger is part of the dock so you need not use your own cord. You now have an extra cable to charge your watch elsewhere! I thought this was very cool as most other Apple Watch chargers make you use your existing cable.
Build quality is excellent. The base has a nice weight to it so it tends to stay put. The portion of the dock that comes in contact with the phone is a nice thick sturdy rubber. So no worries about scratches if you roll caseless.
There is a supplied charging block that plugs into the wall and into the dock. You can't use a micro USB to charge the devices. I was hoping for micro USB capabilities here but it's not that big of a deal seeing as the dock is meant to stay put anyhow.
Overall, it is a great product that I can recommend if you are in the market for a charging dock and you also own an Apple Watch. The only thing I would change is maybe add different color options.

Belkin Powerhouse Charge Dock - a step back

Best buy actually has the wrong name of the product. It is not the Valet Charge Dock, it is the Belkin Powerhouse Charge Dock . I believe the confusion comes from that this may replace the Valet.Belkin was the first to come out with a dual charging dock for iPhones and Apple Watch. That was the Valet Dock and it was priced high at $150. Fast forward about year and now they have come out with a more affordable version, the Powerhouse Charge Dock.
Key features :
Built-in Apple Watch magnetic charging module with integrated Lightning connector for the iPhone.
Charges the Apple Watch and iPhone simultaneously in comparable time to the OEM charger
Adjustable height lightning connector to accommodate iPhones with cases.
Power is 1A for the Apple Watch and 2.4A for the iPhone
Single tethered AC cable that charges both devices and is 4 feet long.
MFi certifed per Apple standards.
Pros :
Relatively small foot print to accommodate the iPhone and Apple Watch.
The built in lightning connected adjusts in height and hinged to move forward about 45 degrees. This enables the dock to accommodate a wide range of iPhone cases and make it a bit easier to dock the iPhone.
Convenient charging for two devices.
Construction is solid and soft backing support where iPhone rests is a nice touch.
Cons :
While the device is weighted to keep it in place, it is not heavy enough and you have to hold the dock down when removing an iPhone.
Large proprietary power cable that is only 4 feet long. This should have been a universal USB type of design and longer cable.
The all plastic finish is not nearly as nice as the Belkin Valet Charge Dock. The Valet Dock is all metal and just a nicer looking and built product.
The $99 list price is too high considering the next step up Valet Charge Dock is now down to $129 ( if it is still available.)
The dock will work with the iPhone SE, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, and Apple Watch Edition.
Although not designed to work with the Apple Ipod, it did work just fine with the Ipod Touch and Ipod Nano.
Ipads will connect to the dock but I strongly advise against it, there is support and weight to properly dock with an Ipad and it may end up damaging the Ipad.
It is a perfectly capable product and I would recommend it if you can get it from Bestbuy at lower price. If not, go to the next step up to the prior version Valet.

It's a great dock if you want your night stand organized with no wires dangling around! iPhone and Apple Watch fit great (I've tried both 38mm and 42mm models) and magnet is strong enough so watch will stay charging even with a metal band. The only downside is that you can't use "nightstand mode" on the watch without removing the band, they won't fit in the "landscape" mode. iPhone charing port will accommodate any iPhone or iPod with case or no case (height of the charging connector is easily adjustable), it would even charge an Apple TV remote :) Charging dock is very solid and weights 1lb alone, you could even charge an iPad on it (but watch won't fit then).
I was surprised to see power brick output rating: 12V 6A which is a whooping 72W - that is more than enough for a super fast charging.
Overall - great product, love it!

Great Docking Station

The Belkin dock is a really nice accessory for anybody that owns and Apple watch and IPhone. This dock is equipped with very cool features and is very compact for tight space situation. I will start with the Pros and end with the Cons.
Pros:
- Unlike some of the more "affordable" docking stations that are available from other manufactures, Belkin's Apple dock has the built in chargers for the Apple watch, and phone, all in one place. You no longer need to have two chargers to charge your devices. The watch charger is also magnetized, so no need to worry about how to hold it in place.
- Another real cool feature that this dock has is a retractable apple lightning port that allows it to extend and retract to fit certain phone cases(There is an issue with this that will be explained in the cons section). This comes in handy for folks who have a case on their phone.
- The fact that this dock is very compact allows you to have a much cleaner looking work space, for those of you who place your devices on your desk. Everything fits in a small area, so there is no need to have your phone laying in one area and your watch in another.
- The dock is heavy enough to prevent you from knocking it over when reaching for either of your devices. This is really important to me because it makes the dock feel of even greater quality. I don't want to knock things over in the middle of the night when I'm reaching over to check the time.
Cons:
- Not too many cons, but one major issue with the docking station is that, although the lightning charging port is able to extend and retract, it does not come out enough to plug into my phone with an Otterbox Defender case on it. It might work if you remove the rubber liner from it, so this is something to think about if you a beefy case on your phone.
- The overall looks of the dock does not win it any awards, but its functions outweigh this little issue.
- Another things that I disliked about the dock, and this is the case for pretty much all other docs, is the fact that you are not able to dock the watch on its side to allow the Nightstand mode to go into effect. Too bad, this would have definitely been something new that Belkin could have implemented in the overall design of its dock. It might not be an important feature for all, but I really find it useful.
Overall, the Belkin dock is a great accessory to have for anyone that is limited in space. this allows to run only one cord to charge both devices, and puts everything in a small compact space. The retractable lightning port is another great feature for folks with thin cases on their phones.
I would highly recommend this Belkin dock to anyone that is in the market for one. You will not regret your purchase.

Docking my iPhone 6s

I have tested this dock against a couple of unadvertised Apple products such as my iPad mini, you have the ability to adjust the height of the lighting port to accommodate iPhone/ iPad with or without a case. Using the dock for an iPad will negate the use of the Apple watch charger. I wanted to see if my Fossil Q watch would recharge and it does though I don't believe it will charge as quickly since it's not designed for that smartwatch.
Using the dock as advertised it has a great aesthetic on my table. The only CON I can think of is the catch of the lighting port, it tends to be over secure when docked. I think with time and use this would lighting up but nonetheless this is a positive and negative for some people. At least it will be secure fit within the dock, while charging the iPhone (with lightning cable) or iPad I notice the charge time was faster than the supplied charger. Took my iPhone from 60% to 100% within 15 mins, I also tested to see if it would still charge weather the screen was face towards you and away which it does, same results with my iPad mini.

I purchased two of these for myself and my wife to help cleanup the cable "nests" that we had around the house. With phones watches and iPad's there were cables everywhere and it looked terrible. I have tried other stand type chargers for iPhone's before, but since I have a small cover on the back of my phone the lightning connector would not reach into the port far enough to make proper contact. Due to the adjustable height on the connector in this device I am able to charge phones in many different case styles with a simple adjustment. The single power supply is another big help with eliminating the cable mess. Of course the watch charger is great because it keeps the watch up off of the table top, protected and easily visible.

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
The Belkin Apple Watch Dock was actually a great product for me. I wear an Apple Watch every day, use an iPhone and an iPad all day long. I place all of those items on my nightstand every night to charge them and keep them handy. Until now, I have used three separate charging cables which led me also to use a cable organizer when they are not connected. This Dock replaces my iPhone and Apple Watch cables. It has a quality feel and is nicely weighted so it "stays put" on the night stand. The Dock has an adjustable lightning connector, so I can easily position the Lightning connector for whatever thickness iPhone I happen to own. The Watch is just placed on the magnetic charging disk on the right side. I found it was best to clasp the band rather than letting it drape loosely. Both items look great in the Dock and charge well. I haven't done any timed charges, so I can't comment on the speed of the charge.
The power adapter appears to accept universal power and the prongs are removable, suggesting this unit could be used other countries by just purchasing the proper plug type.
Opportunities for improvement... The power adapter is just a bit wide for sharing a power strip like the Belkin SugePlus USB which I also use. It blocks other outlets. I also think the magnetic mount for the Watch should be a stronger magnet. The Watch feels a little floppy on there, though it seems to work fine.

Sleek Charging Base

So I have never really been a person who buys into accessories like bases, or extended cables and what not but this Belkin charging dock is pretty interesting. The watch lays secured and charges efficiently but for me the awesome feature was something I had never thought of. There is a turn dial behind the phone support panel so that if you have a thick phone case like I do you can make the charging pin stand up higher so that it can fit into your phones charging area without having to remove my phone case which can be difficult.
Aesthetically it's not an eye sore and as you can see it sits on my kitchen counter where I can charge my phone and watch (quick charge) while I cook and play music.

If you have both an iPhone and an Apple Watch this should be the charger you buy! You don't have to use your own charging cables as this has its own charging cable that powers both. This is a big selling point to me, because now it frees up your cables so you can use them elsewhere. The lighting charging part where you charge your phone is adjustable up and down and moves back and forth which is really nice if you use a case. The stand is nice and heavy and is very solid, if you are in the market for this type of charger/stand don't pass this one up

So I'd first like to say I LOVE the fact that this dock charges both the Apple Watch and iPhone without the need for any cables to be snaked through (unlike 95% of the "dual-charging" docks on the market.) It only has one power cable without a brick, so it frees up a power outlet. I wanted to keep my normal watch cable/USB brick for travel while also having one at home. I have gone through a thousand lightning cables because I use my phone after laying down in bed. The subsequent bending/tension at the jack has destroyed many cables (of numerous brands/constructions.). The idea of having a dock for both my watch and my phone solved both problems, albeit at a premium.
The dock great mass to it -- it doesn't slide around when you put the phone/watch on. It charges equally as well as the stock chargers.
You can move the lightning jack up and down via a dial on the back which is great if you have a thicker case. The jack's casing is very low-profile, so I imagine it would work with almost any case (but maybe not the ones that have a flap over the port.)
The presentation it gives the phone and watch while on charge is unmatched by any other dock. It holds them at attractive angles and looks like you are showing off your devices on a display stand.
The watch charger holds about the same as the Apple brand one we have on our other night stand. I've only once woken up to a watch that didn't charge overnight and I'm pretty sure I knocked it loose while placing the phone the night before (more on that later.)
The firm grip it has on the phone's lightning port is both a pro and a con. Pro because I don't have to worry about it being knocked off the dock on accident. The con being that you have to hold the dock down in order to pull the phone off (aka not a one handed job,) which can be frustrating if you're laying in bed reaching over to answer a phone call whilst in bed.
The MASSIVE downside to this dock is how insanely difficult it is to get the lightning port lined up correctly if it's dark in the room. With a cable, it's pretty straight forward, move it around until you feel the cable depress. Because the lightning jack is so wide it fits incredibly snugly, but it also makes it unnecessarily difficult to push the phone onto the port. The kicker is that the port leans to adjust for the thickness of your case. A nice idea, but a design flaw in my opinion. The combination of these facts make it very difficult to line up the phone and push it down just right 90% of the time. Most of the time the jack just moves with the contour of the rounded iPhone's posterior, ending up with little microbrasions on the front and back of the phone adjacent to the lightning port. Sometimes you think you have it lined up perfectly, only to find out that you're just feeling the space between the case and the phone.
This problem could be alleviated by either eliminating the ability for the jack to rock and/or putting a cradle for the sides/bottom of the phone to line up to.
If you are staring at the dock with the lights on, it is easy to line up. But for my purposes, I usually turn off the lights in my room before laying in bed/docking my phone, so it is frustratingly difficult to dock the phone when I'm ready to go to sleep.
Sure, the rational way around this would be to not use my phone once in bed, but that's a habit that is going to take a very long time to break.
Another feature that I wish they had added to this dock (for the price) would have been to have a lightning or headphone jack to plug headphones to so you could listen to music while charging it, because the dock entirely eliminates that ability unless you have bluetooth headphones.
In summary, I'm giving this a very generous 4 stars. This is the most attractive dual-charging stand on the market and it is made of quality materials. But I may not recommend it if you're using it bedside and you're the type of person that uses your phone in bed before going to sleep.

This is the perfect charger if you have an iPhone and Apple Watch. It holds both the phone and the watch and charges simultaneously. It has it own charging devise and plug, so you can use your originals for other locations. It also has an adjustable charger port for the phone that works with the case on, which is great.

Got this for my wife and she liked it but hated having to line up the lightning plug to sit the phone in the dock. It's not a big deal but it's tricky if it's dark and you're in bed. Ended up getting an 8 dollar bamboo dock off Amazon that does the same thing (charges phone and watch and used a magnetic cable) we kept this dock for travel but prefer the 8 dollar dock over this one. Can't really say anything bad though, it does what it's supposed to. 1 plus is it cleans up the wires well I stead of having 2 charges to charge both devices.

This is my go-to iPhone and Apple Watch charging stand. Belkin did a good job keeping things compact so that my phone and watch don't take up much space while they're charging on my nightstand. The magnet for the Apple Watch is strong enough to hold my Series 2 model along with every band that I have (I do not have a metal link band). My iPhone 7 Plus is propped up nicely and at an angle I can easily view the screen at.
The Lightning connector is adjustable and I've used it to charge my iPhone without taking it out of any of its cases. These include thick cases such as the Otterbox commuter, Speck grip case, and thin cases from both Amazon and Apple. My main complaint is that the Lightning connector is at an angle. It can rotate but it's still at an angle and that sometimes makes it difficult when connecting with my iPhone. I have to use two hands sometimes instead of just plopping my iPhone in the dock. It's a small price to pay and I know other iPhone-Apple Watch charging stations are the same.

Originally bought another name, type, and model of iPhone/Apple Watch multi charger. Specifically the name brand was Nomad. Although I liked the color, look, and design of this one better got it home and seriously, it only worked 100% for one day. Brought this of course back to Best Buy and exchanged it for the Belkin model. Had to pay a little more because this one was slightly more expensive but well worth it. The design not as eye catching in my opinion, but not a bad sacrifice considering this model is certified by Apple to work with Apple products. Definitely works great and a nice way to charge both phone and watch simultaneously. Nice also because it's very neat using only one cord for both devices. More cords is more clutter. Very compact not to take a lot of space on my nightstand as well. Even better, and I was very excited about this. It works with my current iPhone and Apple Watch protective cases. How great is that! Over all very pleased. Would've rated it a 5 if available in other colors and the design wasn't as plain. Still a fan.
