I received this speaker as a free sample to review. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the sound that comes from this little speaker......the bass is awesome! Music comes through very crisp and clear. The music can easily fill a bedroom or kitchen. Very compact, can fit comfortably on desk and not look cluttered. There were a couple of drawbacks...... The switches on the speaker should be lighted (the playback and mic buttons, etc). If you are in a dimly lit room, you won't see the controls at all. Also, the speaker would be even better if it was wireless so that way you could use it outside and don't have an outlet. It also gets very hot at the bottom so be mindful of where you put it. All in all, I would recommend this product especially for a bedroom or students moving into a dorm.

The Belkin Soundform wireless speaker is a nice addition to my home audio. I should mention I received one to write this review. It is a sleek unit. Set up was very easy to do. The app very seamlessly connected to my wifi, found blue tooth enabled devices and synced to my Amazon Alexa. I was up and going within minutes. It is a built-in charging plate on top of the unit that allows me to charge my phone while streaming. This is really nice particularly if I have it on for background over an extended period. While the sound quality is decent, I will say it's definitely not a replacement for a high end speaker for outdoor entertaining. However, it is definitely an upgrade over an Alexa or Google Assistant. the fact that it integrates with both is a plus.

I received this product for my honest review. While do find this speaker to have great sound quality, getting it up and running was not the most user friendly task. I had to go online and download additional apps which I was not familiar with. I was expecting a better step by step process instruction manual. Now that is connected to my smart phone it works great. I was pleasantly surprised by the crisp sound and bass. I also appreciate that you can keep the speaker muted/off for privacy when not in use. If only one day charging can work with a phone case on that would be amazing. Taking off the case is always a hassle to use that feature.

this is a great speaker. The sound is awesome and when turned up all the way still sounds nice and clear with good bass. I like that Alexa is built in. I replaced one of my echo dots with this, so much better. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I had a little trouble with set up. It failed to set up 3 times, before prompting me that it needed to be updated. Once updated I had no issues connecting and setting up. Also, I need to take my phone out of the case to charge it, but I think that is consistent with all wireless chargers and Iphones.

I do really enjoy the surround feeling of sound from this speaker. As the simple type, admittedly I was annoyed when the quick-start booklet only gave the option of use with setup through the Belkin Soundform app. However, if the speaker is on you are able to quickly utilize it right out of the box with normal Bluetooth setup. I have found the touch buttons on front are not the most responsive. I have not yet connected to Alexa or used the voice features. Wireless charging is a great component to this, price is just a bit high however.

I am no expert when it comes to speakers, Smart or otherwise. But I do know what I like when it comes to sound quality and versatility. Weighing approximately 2 pounds, this is a solid compact speaker that does more than just play music. It stands up to the quality that Belkin is known for. With Google Assistant, it is fairly easy to use for other tasks besides listening to music. I like to do research and get information on a variety of subjects for work and personal knowledge. I noticed it does seem to take a few more seconds to understand what I am asking, more so than when I use Google Assistant on my phone. Whether this is an issue with the speaker, google assistant. my voice and pronunciation, I am not sure. I liked the handy phone charger and it does charge the phone quickly, but the back of the phone got pretty warm. The shape of the speaker is sturdy and steady, not wobbly, so there is no need to worry about it tipping over. Cord is thick and well made, not skimpy or fragile. Many of the drawbacks are minor. This is not something you want to take outside or use by the pool. You do need to use the blue tooth setting on your phone if you are using an app like Pandora. I am somewhat old fashioned and still wish products came with paper user manuals without needing to download and print. It took a little while to figure it out but the Belkin website was very helpful and answered most of my questions. All in all I think it is worth the money if you like Belkin.

In reviewing this Belkin speaker the packaging was good easy to get into. Pulling the unit out I was surprised at its weight. Set up was easy just follow the simple directions to get the app that’s all it was to it. It took 5 minutes. When I plugged the speaker in and it was paired up with my phone the lights on the speaker light up. I was Shocked at the full sound coming out of it. It filled the room with music. My husband didn’t know I had received this so when he heard the music coming from downstairs he immediately came downstairs. He said all that sound coming out of that?? He is a music lover and was very excited with the power coming out of a small unit. The bonus is the the unit charges your phone while you play music or listen to podcasts. This is a great addition to your home entertainment experience.

The only smart device in my home is me, though how well I function depends on the time of day and circumstances. So when I received the Belkin Soundform Elite, the only thing I knew was that it was a speaker. My question was, did I really need it? Hooking it up was easy (with my son and a friend as backup assistants). After downloading the Soundform app onto my phone, connecting to the product was rather seamless. I like the idea of a speaker I can use in the kitchen or out on the back deck. I can see how it might be especially useful if I ever get that camper van. Although it is not as powerful as my 30-something-year-old speakers connected to my ancient Technics stereo receiver, the Soundform produces a very clear sound and is loud enough for my purposes. I like the idea of playing songs and podcasts via Bluetooth from my phone or on Spotify, which I also downloaded after buying this product (not sure what took me so long). I wasn't sure if I'd like Alexa, since I can also ask Siri, but it's fun walking by and random questions. From an aesthetic point of view, I also like the form of this product. I was excited about being able to charge my phone, so the biggest downer is that my iPhone is too old to be compatible with this product. Perhaps it's time to upgrade. Who knows, maybe the Belkin Soundform Elite will be the stimulus I need to move into the 21st century.

I have had this speaker for about a year and keep it on my kitchen counter. The initial set up process to connect to WiFi/Bluetooth was super easy. We really enjoy it for playing music in the house, the sound is good quality. As a phone charger, it is relatively slow. We do not use it for Alexa often, either. It seems to often be disconnected from Alexa (or maybe it relies on bluetooth and is connected to one household member's phone, so when they're not home it throws it off or doesn't seemlessly switch between users. this is my biggest complaint about the product. usually to play music, I pull it up on Spotify on my phone first, then play it on Soundform Elite device. We kept having problems when trying to request music directly on the Soundform by asking Alexa. Other than this, I like the product as far as speaker quality!)

I received this Belkin speaker at no cost in exchange for an honest review of the product. So far so good. It was very easy to set up and connect to my Amazon account and already connected Alexa devices. I like the look and design of the speaker. The sound quality is great. Music is clear and Alexa works perfectly. I also really like that I can charge my cell phone wirelessly as well. It even charges my phone while still in the phone case. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

This speaker is small but definitely packs a punch! I can play music with the app connected to my iPhone, and it allows me to still get phone calls or other notifications without disrupting the music. It’s a great speaker to wake the kids up with on the weekends when it’s time to clean the house! And the kids enjoy asking alexa 100 questions when the music isn’t on! I can wirelessly charge my phone with it, play music multiple ways, plus the sound quality is great! Definitely happy with the speaker!

I got a product shipped to my house,Its a great speaker,phone charger is a nice feature.The sound is amazing! The only small problem is that I cannot get the ALEXA to link to my phone to use the smart part of the speaker? But overall very nice sound for it's size.

This was easy to set up. Sound quality is good. Great interface with Alexa. Wireless charging is seamless. Nice style. No point in posting a picture as it looks exactly like the online product.

I simply love this product. I like the way the music sound on it and the bass effect on the sound, not to mention the way I can use the Google Assistant to command what I need it to do. I set it up in my office and it is exactly what i needed in that room. A breath of fresh air. Try it. Truly love this thing. My new toy. Still learning what else I can do with it.

This is the best speaker I have ever had. Sound quality is awesome and it blends in with the surrounding. The best part is the charger for your phone. You can continue to play your music and not have to stop and charge your phone. Awesome and I would recommend this product!

This speaker is really great. The bass sound to it is pretty powerful compared to what I have used in the past. I like that it can charge my phone as well. Overall, I like it a lot. I was sent this product as a free sample to use for this review.

Just received my Belkin SoundForm Elite. Very simple to set up and ready to go. I was hesitant at first because the price seemed a bit steep for a Belkin product but I had 30 days to return and the reviews were VERY in-depth and they all sounded really positive. Overall, I am pretty impressed by the product. The sound quality wasn't top-tier but for the price, I got an absolutely great deal.

As a speaker and charger, great. As an Alexa device, not so much. The speaker sounds great but when issuing commands to Alexa, if you are heard at all, there is typically a significant delay (10-15 seconds). I have 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen echos active, from dot to premium, and they are all much snappier than this Belkin in terms of voice interaction.

A great bargain. Has excellent acoustics for listening to operas that our friend likes to play. Easy to set up. The phone charger is a nice extra.
