I needed a replacement for an old dial-type light timer and this fit the bill perfectly. I was able to program it to come on at dusk and turn off at dawn, so I wasn't constantly changing the setting on the old timer. Additionally, it connected right into my Amazon Echo Dot!

Easy to use, set up and adjust. The app is good and straight to the point.

Does exactly what its suppose to do. I use it with my Amazon echo it paired and works flawlessly

The switch works as expected, but I'm not happy with the security. It caches credentials to access a wifi network, which is expected, but grants all users of that wifi network the ability to operate the switch. All you need to do is download the app, and it will autodiscover the WeMo devices on the network and allow the user full control. This is easy for the average person to get the switch working, but it's not a model I'm comfortable with for my home. (I was not able to find additional configuration options to deal with this, and may be incorrectly concluding that they do not exist. If there are other options to secure the implementation, my opinion would change.) Initial updates to the switch firmware were rather klunky to install. The process was engineered to be simple, like the operation. User is notified of update availability when accessing the app. The user can then initiate the download & update from the app. The initial update failed several times before successfully installing. A secondary update was much smoother.

I purchased this as an addition to my home automation widgets (thermostats, switches, etc.) and it works great! No problems setting it up, connecting to the internet, and then the Amazon Echo Dot. It works as advertised, and we have it controlling our living room lamps.

I bought two and have them plugged into lamps. I was fairly easy to get them set up with my Echo and they work very well. Occasionally there is a delay or I have to repeat myself, but minor stuff considering how cool it is to turn your lights on and off with your voice.

I bought two of these and one stopped working within about 2 weeks. I tried rebooting, reconnecting, everything. Nothing worked. I went to exchange it at the same BB i bought it from and the only one they had left in stock was also previously returned (you could tell by the packaging). I gave it a shot, and that too did not work (obviously, since it was returned.) Then I went to a 2nd BB and the only one they had left in stock was previously returned. Didn't want to repeat the same mistake so i went to a 3rd BB that had 2, 1 looked new and the other looked previously returned. I exchanged for the new one and thankfully it works ... for now. I'm just glad I had the longer return period with elite status. When it does work, it does exactly as i need it. Turns on/off lights remotely, from my iphone when on vacation.

I really enjoy this device on a every day basis. It was very simple to setup and install. I also hooked it up to my Alexa for a smart home integration. This would have been a 5 star rating however the device is very large.

I love this product! I have purchased many for my home. I have each one staggered to turn on and turn off. These are silent unlike those noisy timers. Changing the time via the app for all the devices is a breeze. Changing the leap forward or fall back times and adjusting to the fall/winter and spring/summer daylight hours is so worth it.

Easy to set-up and works as described. I am able to control the unit via my iPhone 6 with ease.

Easily installed, works exactly as advertised. Used it to control lights on deck and around pool.

In general it works perfectly and fast, but have some issues linking one of them with wifi.

Bought this device that operate a fan and worked great. Like that you can make a schedule.

This device was very easy to setup and is very handy when I want to turn on multi lights.
