I mainly use it via my Google Home using IFTTT and while it does work, it lags behind - it takes 2-3 seconds to complete the action (turn on or off). Using via the phone app is flawless though, no delay at all. It was easy to set up as well.

I have several of these on several lights in my home and also on a "TV Box" which uses only the power of a night light, but reflections on the windows appears that someone is watching TV inside. I can turn each one on and off separately at will, so it does appear that I am actually at home.

I love this product. Often we don't get home before dark, so we used to leave a light on all day for our dogs. Now I have my lamp attached to this device and can turn it on with my phone or schedule it to come on at sunset automatically. We plan to buy several more of this product as well as the light switch model.

I'm using this with my Echo Dot Gen 2 and it works great; initial set up was easy but then I shut the wall switch off manually and wiped out the programming. I used the chat line support and the agent walked me right through a hard reset and re-programming. I've since picked up 2 more.

Hoping to save a ton of money using this to completely turn off my TV, game consoles and such and get rid of the money they drain even when off....We'll see. Otherwise it works well with the Echo. No hub required and you can set it up easily.

I think my use is a little out of the ordinary because I purchased this to turn off and on my internet router in order to put usage controls into effect for my kids. The iphone app really makes it convenient and simple to set up and control.

I was skeptical about this type of intelligent home device, but after getting this outlet I'm amazed.

While I was excited about using my Amazon Echo capabilities with WeMo; I'm slightly underwhelmed. It tends to lose it's connectivity, but is within feet of the router. Several updates to the app have been done but still not where I would like it to be. With proper updates, this could be a 5 star product

Wemo switches on lamps, are a huge improvement over the old mechanical light timers. Setting it up with the smartphone, lets you program for every day, or even control it with IFTTT. Wireless home network required and make sure you don't have a dead spot in your Wemo plug in location. Saves time daily.

The Wemo works well and I am satisfied with the switches I purchase. I would like for them to be smaller so that I can use the outlet on the wall at the same time. I can't fit another plug into wall without purchasing an adaptor.

I bought several of these Wemo switches and along with my amazon echo and 3 echo dots I can almost make my home 100%intelligent, this switches are very easy to use either you have an Alexa or not as you can use them with the phone app so easy to use great quality of products

This is a great product and you don't have to be a tech wiz to use it! It does take a smartphone but other than that, its plug in, connect to it, enter your wifi password and your off. If you want to get a little more fancy, connect your WeMo to IFTTT. The options become almost limitless. ENJOY!
