We have several of these switches throughout our home to control our lighting. We have a few more on order since the store sold out of them. It's nice to be able to use it with the Amazon Echo to control the lights and if you happen to be away from home and want to turn on or off a light, fan or some other appliance you are using with it, the Wemo app can do that through your cellular service. You can also group several switches together for Echo so you can turn on a group of lights with one command instead of several.

I really like this, I use it for my AC in my living room. Have a timer set for the week so it turns on the AC about an hour before I get home. Also can turn it on and off on the weekends if I am coming home and want to cool the place down.

Bought this to use with my Amazon Echo. Works perfectly with Amazon Alexa app and Amazon Echo. Also will still work with the app that is designed for the WeMo. Plan to purchase more WeMo devices.

While much pricier than a regular mechanical timer device, the Wemo outlet offers flexibility in setting exact (to be minute) on and off times (they are called rules in Wemo parlance). Belkin provides free updates for this device which is a benefit I wasn't expecting. The IOS app gives you the capability to associate a picture with the device being controlled. This is very handy where multiple Wemo devices are in a home. Installation was easy and so far the operation of the device via wi-fi has been solid.

I only stick with Wemo because they have the most devices to choose from. Also, instead of using the actually Wemo app I prefer the QuickSwitch app. Much faster, with Apple Watch support.

It connected to my wifi and the wemo app really quick and easily. For whatever reason it took a little while longer for the Amazon Echo to connect to it. But it did and works great. The only reason I thought off a star was because of the size. It sticks up high, so you're forced to use it on a top outlet otherwise it will cover up both outlets if you connect it on the bottom. Other than that, it works great with no problems thus far.

I had an older timer that you wind and click the times to set it, and as it started to age, I could hear it constantly ticking. I was so happy when I ran across this item! It is great!

I bought 2 as soon as i received my echo for xmas. i love it. super easy to install. just plug in and pair through wifi. it works with echo or an app through your phone. i love being able to control my lights with voice.

I thought this was a cool device and I like new technology. It works very well and is convenient but probably isn't worth the extra cost if you're just using it as a lamp timer as I am

The WeMo Switch was easy to set up and connect to Alexa. The WeMo App is easy to use too and allows the user to easily set up a device's active schedule. I do wish it had a smaller form factor and was less expensive, but understand these connected devices are currently commanding a premium purchase price. I'm currently using the WeMo to control the light strings that illuminate the back yard patio roof edge.

Wether you are in another room or away from home, you can always control the lights from your iPhone. Never have to come home to a dark house again. I love it.

I was a little nervous about this product after reading some mixed reviews, but it works perfectly with my Echo and Echo Dot! I bought two of them - one for a bedroom lamp and one for a living room lamp. Plugged them in, set them up in the WeMo app, and then added them to my Echos in the Alexa app. I love being able to control the lights with my voice. If your simply trying to use this with an Echo device, give it a try! I can't wait to add more to my home.

I have several wemo products & this is just as good. I have 5 wemo switch including wemo light switch for my front porch. I can control or set a timer via smart phone or tablet setting up is very easy.

I previously bought the wemo light switches and love them. I wanted to try this switch to see if I could use it on other appliances. It works well on my apple devices, the firmware upgrade takes a while and might have to download more than one update. These are important for security and bugs. I tried to set it up with an android device, but could not get it to work. I had to set up the wemo switch with an apple product like an ipad, then I could add the android device. The android device will automatically pick up wemo switch settings through the network. I did not try to plug a surge protector or power strip into the wemo switch yet, but suppose it should work. This will allow me to control more than one appliance. Great product.

This device has made it very convenient to program on and off times for my aquarium light. I have a very irregular schedule, and this allows me to maintain consistency with the lights on and off times

We bought this for when we were going on vacation. I had so much fun turning it on and off at different times. When we came home I had fun turning it on and off and shocking my husband. It was fun!!!

I really like this product. The instructions were easy, even to non-techy peeps. It works really with my Amazon Echo

i love this product, i have 3 in my home. i love being able to turn my lights on inside my house when im not home or just before i come home at night.

Decided to update our timer lamp to something that was more savy to our schedule. The intial set-up and update took longer then I expected. There was a firmware update that ended up locking up the device & our home wifi. After resetting the plug then the router it connected right away. No problems since and can change the lighting depending on our schedule from where ever we are.

This is awesome! I have several of these to control my house. I have Amazon echo and I turn lights on and off with the sound of my voice. You won't be disappointed, this is a great item!
