This is awesome! I have several of these to control my house. I have Amazon echo and I turn lights on and off with the sound of my voice. You won't be disappointed, this is a great item!

Love this WeMo system. I started with 2 outlet switches for my lamps & went from there. It was easy to add cameras, light bulbs & wall switches over time. Love the ease & convenience.

Might be a little bulky in size. I use it with echo dot. Works ok, but it probably takes longer for me to have Alexa turn lights on and off. It probably works 90% of the time. Using the app to turn it on and off is sometimes frustrating because of the long load times. It might not be as convenient as I thought it would be, but it's something "cool" to have.

A great product which works as advertised. Easy installation and setting up rules for on times/days is easy. It has worked flawlessly since install. Remember you must use your phone or a button on the device to operate the light/device once installed, switches on the wall or on the device no longer operate the flow of electricity. If your device does not automatically return to service after power interruption it will not after it is turned off by this switch.

This was a gift for someone who travels a lot and would like to control lights or other objects that are plugged into the device right from their phone.

I purchased this switch to power my lights for my entertainment center in my living room. Have had no issues with it and works great. I can turn the lights on/off remotely and serves as a great show piece when guests are over. Highly recommended and very easy to setup. I have 2 setup in my house and I use them all the time. Also works great for things that have switches in hard to reach places. This solves all those problems.

The device is very useful for things such as lights, air conditioners, fans, and space heaters (not all types). I've had one of these for over 2 years and will say that there were times where the app would freeze up on my phone and I would have to reinstall it and reinstall the device. The device is so large that it takes up two outlets. It doesn't work on my newer space heater (it requires me to push the power button after it's been shut off).

Setup was simple and worked as advertised. Updates to the switch take a while, be prepared for that. I love the integration with 'if this then that'

I've had remote controlled sockets before but none that could be controlled from your phone. I picked up the WeMo switch and gave it a try. It can control anything plugged into it. The setup is quick and easy and downloading the app from the Play Store was a snap. The app is very basic and lets you turn on/off the switch or set rules in order to schedule the days/times and length you want the switch to turn on. It all works well enough. The main issue with the product is that because it is connected to the internet, there is the potential for hackers to access the device. Already there has been news of WeMo vulneratbilites. All in all, it's a nice little gizmo that is priced slightly high and has a gaping security hole. So buyer be aware and don't use it to control stuff that are important until the security of the device is beefed up.

I love product! It's really neat how you can control outlet through your phone. I highly recommend this product. I have bought several of them for my personal use and as gifts.

we needed a light to turn on when we are out of town so that people will think that we are still at home. This thing works and I love it. I will buy more but will wait for a sale.

I bought this to go with the Echo Dot in my home. I use it to turn on the coffee pot remotely but, clearly, there are many uses that it could be put to. The size of the item is large for what it does (the only reason for losing a star) but it is very functional. It does seem to do firmware updates very often but that is only a small issue.

Love this product and easy to install. Over the holidays my family bought five of them and everyone loves it! Nice to have control over when your lights come on in the house.

Easy to set up. Works great. Nice knowing when I was gone for a few days I could turn my light on and off to make it look like we were home.

This product does what it says it's going to do. Easy set up. Your phone just needs to have cellular service or wifi access to use it. I wonder if they have an outdoor version?

I'm using this with Amazon Echo to turn on and off the lights in my room. It works perfectly. Now I can control the lights with just my voice. Wish it was cheaper though.

This product does exactly what it says it will do. I love that I can plug a lamp into it and have it automatically turn on and off throughout the day based on the schedule I've inputted on the IFTTT website. Highly recommend for people who travel a lot since you can have it turn on and off without you being home. Also very nice to be able to ensure you never come home to a dark house. Highly recommend!

This is a cool little unit. I use it to control lights in my home over 1,000 miles away. I hope they start producing a waterproof version

I use it to remotely reboot my Slingbox and it works seamlessly. Nobody needs to be home at the moment if the Slingbox freezes or crashes, just power on and power off.

This product is a great start at home automation. Simply plug it in and connect it to your network, download the app and your done. The only problem is the price for what it does. It turns things on and off. I feel like you should be able to get two for the $49.99 Belkin is charging. But the product works as advertised and there are many uses you can find for it.
