I had this item for about a year and a half. I used it everyday and sometimes all day. It withstood. All you have to do is plug it into your usb port and your computer will automatically find it. I had to purchase this new one because it sticks out far and it took a lot of bangs before it broke. It was easy to knock out of the usb port. It is plastic so eventually it broke. I use it for my desktop. So for those of you that have a router and want to make your desktop "wireless" , then this is perfect.

I plugged it into a USB port on my computer, the light started blinking, it found my wireless connection and that's the story.

We purchased this to be able to add an old PC we use as our "kids computer" on our wireless network. We do not want to purchase a new computer the kids may destroy, so the this was a great alternative enabling this PC, which we don't care if the kids mess up, to be connected on our wireless network.

Very easy to set up. The dongle cover comes completely off soit can easily be lost.

I live in apartment with family members which have laptops and wireless internet and i have a desktop no wireless so i bought this usb adaptor and put in my computer it works perfectly, sometime it slow but i think its the internet provider not the usb cable

Weirdest thing about this thing....for gaming, pandora, etc, it works great on "N" speed, but as soon as I open a browser, my router suddenly resets. It never did that before I got this adapter. I changed the adapter settings to limit it to "G" speeds, and it hasn't happened since. I will be returning this adapter. My roommate bought the same adapter and has not had the same experience, even when connecting to the same router, and browsing the same sites. Weird...

I lost a network adaptor card from my laptop and purchased this item at BestBuy. It worked great right away, but because of its size, it made it hard to use the second USB slot on my laptop as well as plugging in the power cord. I later bought a USB extension which solved that problem.

This works great with my new computer. Easy to set up and start using. Internet works fast and well. The only down side is giving up a USB port to use it.

I have a very old Dell desktop computer that I wanted to connect to our home's wi-fi network. This worked perfectly and the computer is getting high speed internet now.
