the router needs to restart quite often and the wireless goes out sometimes but comes back within a few minutes

This is a very good Router, I really like it. i use it in my apartment and it works well.

Couldn't get it to install because set-up instructions were missing a step. Had to call tech support and after being told to do the step not on the instructions it started working. While I had them on the phone I asked them where I change the name and password to the router and when I went to where they said to go it said I need to do a firmware upgrade. Really? To change the name and password? So they helped me download the firmware and install but then it stopped working. After an hour on the phone and being put on hold for at least 10 min while they went to find someone else to help I hung up and after several more times of trying just to get it working with the name and password they wanted it to be it would not work. At this point just returned it. Most of the routers I have installed in the past allow you to you to pick your network name and password during the install. If you don't need or don't care what your network name and password is then this router is for you.

Best router I`ve owned and easy to install. I`ve recommended it to friends and family.

I had the router installed by the Geek Squad in my apartment-style condo. It is less than 18 inches from my laptop but I frequently am unable to connect to the internet. Usually can get on after shutting off all power for 15 seconds. Very frustrating!
