Loses signal frequently, it runs slow with wifi. Constantly need to reset.

My home Verizon Fios motem was set up for Wifi, didn't need the Belkin.

Hey all, I have and will continue to buy Belkin products. Think I just got a lemon. I had to update it with Belkin then had to call again as it still wasn't working. I then was instructed to return it, as it was a dud. I have a Belkin router now and works great, has for years.

Dead on arrival - Best Buy was awesome though so when I went to get a different, more expensive router, the return was quick and easy.

Drops connections. Does not work reliable. Low cost but does not work.

I had a Linksys before this that needed to be reset EVERY day!! Literally every 24 hours, it would stop working and I would have to stop what I was doing to march upstairs, unplug it, wait 10 seconds and replug it to reset it in order to get it to work. I finally got fed up with living like this, so I researched routers in hopes of finding one that wasn't too expensive, but was also realiable. This Belkin router is absolutely perfect. It is always reliable and working! I never have to worry about it. The price was great. I wish I would've bought it sooner! Set-up was easy in theory, but my laptop didn't take to it so I had to call Belkin customer service and they helped me out and I haven't had any issues since!!! I love my router! I really appreciate it!

This was very easy to install and has worked great for me. It has worked in every room in the house, upstairs, downtairs, and even outside. I synched my smart phone up to it as well and I have amazingly fast internet on it now!! Great value!!!! Would highly reccommend!!!

This router is designed for a quick and easy set-up. To some degree, this is true as I had wireless set up within minutes after opening the box. However, even though I was connected to the internet I had problems with download speeds being painfully slow (20 times slower than a wired connection) on multiple computers. This made streaming video basically impossible. After some painstaking research, I found that if I changed a setting that made all the difference. What I did was log into the router settings the click on wireless> Channel and SSID and then turn 802.11e/WMM QoS from "on" to "off". After I made that change, the download speeds are comparable to wired connections and the router works great.

I bought this router to be used at my house. It was very easy to set it up. Now it is up and running without any problem. I am suprised the reception range can be very far. I can even received WiFi signal by the pool when I was enjoy the sun and use my iPad. With this price I think this product is a good deal.

Not sure why there are so many reviews where people had trouble installing or many droped signals. Since installing this router in my home I've had no problems at all. I get a full 5 bar coverage on both of my computers, and I was able to connect the xbox 360 to the router. Installation was very very very simple. Just inserted the disk and followed directions. It was literally as easy as 1-2-3, would definitly recommnend this router to anyone that needs a replacement or average wifi range in their home.

I bought it to hook my Wii up in my hotel room when I'm on the road. The Wii can not connect to wifi networks that require registration. It's a chicken and egg problem. It's not feature rich, but will get your wireless devices online quickly and with a WPA passcode by default. No freeloaders just because wifi security is needlessly complex. If you are looking for advanced networking features, it's not for you, but if you are looking to quickly and easily get your wireless devices connected, it'll work just fine.

Bascially I was looking to spend as little as possible to set-up a wireless network between my laptop and desktop and this did the trick. This was least expensive one I found at Best Buy (in store) and set-up was quick, very easy. Recommended.

The Belkin N150 works great for us. Easy to install and use, small footprint, non-obtrusive in my work area. I even like the blue light that assures me the unit is on and ready to work. Recommended!

Not a bad modem for the price, although the wireless is not as fast as my wired connection. I have this wireless router hooked into my wired router to allow me to download for my new Kindle Fire HD. For any router you should do the following: 1. Go to the web site and change the Admin password 2. My wireless connection kept dropping. Went to http://192.168.2.1 and followed the instructions for changing SSID & Channel. Changed from the Auto channel to use the recommend channel setting of 6 and no more dropped connections. Also on this page select Setting to change the Admin password. 3. Remember anytime you select the reset button on the router you need to re-add the Admin password.

The router is amazing, works well, haven't had issues so far. It's connected to multiple devices including Xbox, Blueray Player, two laptops and a desktop pc, 3 iPads and a wifi connected fridge, of which there is always multiple device using the Internet at the same time and it works great. However i recommend using a surge protector which protects against power spike which will disconnect and reconnect your connection periodically. I would recommend this router anyway.

My roommates bought this router for our apartment. Our apartment is very long and the furthest rooms from the router still get connectivity. It was very easy to install (only 3 steps), and VERY easy to change the name and pw so you can have even better security. I would recommend this. The price was right as well.

This little wireless router is great. It was very easy to setup and start using. I have my iPad2 and Blackberry connected to it and the range is awesome. The connection speed is fast also. I can sit at my neighbors house with my iPad and still be online.

I am not an advanced user, but I can tell you that I installed this item in about 5 minutes. I took it out of the box, hooked it up to my cable connection, put the CD in my drive and installed the software. I then simply followed the steps and connected my 3 PS3's, 3 EVO's, 2 iPod's, 1 Nintendo 3DS and 1 iPad to this unit. It couldn't have been any easier. The connection is fast and I can use multiple devices without losing my connection with my Road Runner Turbo.

I got this for my Grandmother. I figured the no frills option would be good for her, thought it would work right out of the box with minimal setup. The initial cd setup went fast, the connection was established and I got all of her devices on it fast. But the connection was very slow. I speed tested it and it had a download at 44k. Should have been 25megs. Oddly the upload was normal. I called tech support (free and worth every penny) and spent the better part of an hour going through a trial and error process that eventually led to proper function of the router but I really feel that if the person on the other end knew a bit more about the function of the product that it wouldn't have taken so long. For some reason the security settings were the thing that was hanging it up. I don't know why it would work at all if the security settings were wrong, but that was the situation.

Easy to install; works well with the modem I have and couldn't be happier with the performance over the past six months since I purchased it. Great price/value.
