no documentation or access to support during setup

There was no owner's manual included with this router, despite what the Best Buy website says. In fact, there was no paperwork at all. Nowhere on or inside the box was there even a customer support phone number. When I installed the Setup CD, I repeatedly got the error message, "Setup/router monitor application has stopped working." So, I had no instructions, no setup wizard, no manual, and no way to contact Belkin for help. And, of course, no internet access because I couldn't set up the router. I had to wait days until I could download the manual from my office computer and figure out how to troubleshoot the installation. The only reason I didn't give this fewer stars was that once set up, the modem is functioning OK.

At first i was not planning on buying this product after reading the reviews from other customer's. I went to the store to pick out another model but i didn't like the ones i found. i saw the N150 and it was mostly sold out so i said to my self i'd give it a try, bought it, set it up just as the instructions said and my internet and wifi worked flawless.

Connection drops 20+ times a day!!!

I got this thing a month or two after I moved to my first apartment for school and I didn't have much money to spend, so I had to be cheap getting my first router and saw this. I thought, "Hey!!! A router that's $30 and has great reviews! How could I go wrong?!?" Well, I was wrong to get this. I knew to expect a few connection drops, maybe a reasonable once a day, but no, this router drops at least 20+ times a day!!! My apartment isn't even that big either!!! Within the last hour of having it on, it has dropped 7-9 times!!! This is just a decoration that serves 10 or less minutes of wifi at a time, and I know it isn't my internet dropping because whenever I have my computer plugged into the ethernet cable, it works 100%! I guess you get what you pay for, so go up a level and buy something a little more worth your time and money unless you want a plastic, technological looking decoration in your house. This takes the cake for being the worst wireless router I have ever encountered!!!

I still have not been able to get this product to work properly I will never buy a belkin product again, this is the second router I bought, the first one was difficult but with a few customer service calls it worked. They tried to tell me it was my computer but this is a brand new computer and a brand new modem and they can't get it to work at all

Wireless n doesn't work, wireless g does work

I wasted lots of time figuring this out. On both my laptop and phone, speedtest.net showed an average download speed of 0.5 Mbps using the default of wireless n, and router was unstable. If configured for wireless g, it does 3.5 Mbps, the same as the wired connection and is stable. It doesn't matter what channel is chosen and there aren't that many other networks with a strong signal around me. Good enough if all you want is internet connection. Don't know if I will waste time exchanging it. I have found others on the web with a similar experience, so don't know if there is an occasional repeatable defect or if the majority of people don't understand how these things should perform.

Installation was very easy. I was having a little trouble with the WAN setup via a cable modem, but the docs and the install had the option to spoof a mac address which then saw the internet, and it very easy to add more than one device.

I bought this for my apartment, and need to use internet wireless. The internet speed on this router is very slow, and if the power ever cuts out, have to set up the router all over again...I am not sure if there's a way to avoid this, but I have had some issues when the power was cut off for awhile.

Great Low Price for High Quality Product

An inexpensive router with few frills, but it does the job wonderfully, and its range covered all three floors of the home. Set up was not exactly "easy" as it describes on the outside of the box; it was necessary to call tech support and spend about 20-25 minutes with the tech rep going through a lot of steps to activate the unit. But in the end, it was worth it and the router continues to work flawlessly. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to set up a simple wireless network in their home.

tech support got running in decent amount of time. No problems since and speed from old Linksys router is great. Can't go wrong for the price which finally lead me to breaking open the old wallet and upgrading.

    Satisfactory. Start up problems

As a user with little knowledge the instructions were very difficult to follow. Eventually I had to be led through the procedure by telephone by a technical representative to get it done. This was not helped by a defect in the unit which I did not realize until after the representative had got me in operation. The connector to the unit is loose and the signal is lost if the unit is moved. Moving the connector will restore the signal and everything is OK once you have the correct position. I wrote this in a review of the Technical Service for Belkin, but never had any response from them
