Poor product (...with good customer support)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The N150 was easy to setup, but kept dropping network connection to my cable modem (which is a supported model). I worked with technical support by phone - which was very helpful. However, I again lost my connection. I returned it to the store and exchanged it for another of the same model (I just thought I had a lemon), but had the same problem. So, I switched to a Netgear, which has worked better; however, they are much more restrictive with technical support. So, while Belkin worked with me to get my networked printer connected to the switch, Netgear would not because it was a peripheral device, not a computer. So, I liked dealing with Belkin for its service, but not for this product.

Excellant router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router was purchased to get my wireless Xbox hooked up to a motel network. I had to chat with Belkin tech support to get the router and Xbox on the same channel, but after almost a half hour of chatting we were able to get the Xbox online. The support person was very patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend this router to anyone on a budget and for use in a small apartment or house.

Don't buy !
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router two days back for use in my apartment. The only good part was easy installation. But it never really worked after that. Very slow, unreliable speed and connection. Tried everything from restarting/resetting modem and router, but no good. Even google home page was taking like 4-5 seconds to open up fully. Serious advise don't go for it just because it is cheap. I am returning mine today.

Just OK Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router works but the menus were quite confusing and I failed in a couple attempts to configure as an access point. I did get it to work and it seems fine. I have a lot of experience with wireless routers and this is at best in the middle of the pack

Great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product a month ago and it was definitely worth the money. I've connected my laptop, iPad 2 and iPhone 4S with no problems. I truly have no complaints. I absolutely recommend this Belkin - N150 Wireless Router

The worst router we've had in 15 years!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely the worst piece of technology we have EVER had, both in the office and personally. Very temperamental, suddenly and constantly refuses to connect and be found (yes, did upgrade firmware and no channel conflicts etc), it's software gives up then asks you to contact support. That goes no where fast. I should not need to call tech support for a router. it's a basic and germane piece of technology. I've had experience with dozens of routers in the offices and at home. Needed this in a pinch for a home office, figured it's a router, how bad can it be, despite the bad reviews, i figured these people cannot configure a router... i mean... it's a router! It either works or it doesn't, and what company would put one out that doesn't? Apparently Belkin does. The only enjoyment I got out of it was smashing it.

Continually loses WIRED connection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I glanced over a number of reviews, all saying that connection was being dropped frequently. However, I somewhat naively assumed they were using wireless connection, and I planned to use it with wired connections (2-3). Big mistake. It drops connection around every 5 mins... sometimes just momentarily, other times say 15+ seconds. MS Outlook is constantly issuing warnings saying connection is lost, then re-established. It just happened again as I'm writing this! Cannot work with such a poor connection, and very much doubt if anyone can. I will be returning it.

installation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.found this same router at target for 29.99. the box claims installation is as easy as 1-2-3. don't be surprised if you are on the phone with an accented tech for 15 minutes trying to get it to work. the tech was helpful and got it to work but it took longer than 1-2-3. more like 1-2-3-4.....50-51-52 etc
