I would make this purchase again if I needed another one. One step to install and very easy to use.

I being a computer engineering major have a slight background with computers and tech. I was able to breeze through the installation wizard and had everything work and was very happy... for two days until I could no longer maintain a connection with any of my 4 devices.

    Terrible, buy something else

Bought this router and it seemed to work OK for a couple of weeks. Had to reset it somewhat regularly, but can't rule out ISP on that one. It took multiple tries for the wizard to configure it properly, but if you follow the directions EXACTLY (including order of making connections), it will eventually muddle through. The reason it got such a bad review is that the wireless radio stopped working--very frustrating to diagnose as it is the last thing I expected and this has NEVER been the issue with past routers. It should not be surprising though as the router is very cheaply made. The reset button didn't actually work-again, something you don't usually figure out until you are having trouble. My bet is that probably most people would be OK with this, but I would recommend that anyone looking at this spend an extra $10 and get something else.

I bought this to replace a much more expensive router. It was very easy to install but the reception was very directional and my flat screen tv in the next room interferred with my tablet and laptop. Very disappointing. I returned it the next day.

I connected it with my two laptops and wifi enabled phone, and it would connect with one device at a time. I needed to frequently restart it. Had to return it and get Netgear.

    Drops connection often

I was having trouble with this router since purchasing it six months ago. I decided it could also be my modem, so I just reset both often and didn't think about it. Then a couple weeks ago, my router just stopped working. I contacted customer support and tried a few things, only to discover I have a faulty router. I cannot return it without a receipt (I paid cash and cannot find my receipt), and now they will not replace a device they admit was faulty. Best Buy also cannot help me here. If you decide to try this router out, keep the receipt so you can return/replace it in a few months, or avoid it altogether and get a better router. My old one works better than this one ever did.

You get what you pay for - constantly re-starting!

Since my original purchase and installation in mid-January 2014, I have found myself having to re-start it at least once a week. It continually drops the connection. I'm going to have to upgrade to something more reliable.

All good until you need their customer service

Had my Belkin a little over a year then needed customer service, for an issue where it would not let me log onto any of my perferred search engines email, or their sites. I was able to access when I bypassed the router and used just the modem. Belkin customer service could not fix the problem and they always disconnected me when we got to warranty replacement conversation. Will never buy one of their products again.

    Stopped working

I would not suggest buying this modem. I purchased one 2 1/2 months ago. I had no issues setting it up and it worked just fine for me until last week when it stopped working. I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with Belkin support over 3 phone calls before they came to the decision that it was just a bad router and nothing I could do. I had to run out and buy a new router so I could still work. I obviously went with a different brand and won't go back to Belkin.

    Support Service Was Horrible

I bought a N300 and an N150 together. I factory reset the N150 and could no longer connect to it. I contacted Belkin Customer Support and it was a horrible experience. They wanted to know a lot of personal information which I found offensive. He could not explain why the factory reset was not working. After two hours, I opted to return these to BB. The BB agent confirmed that what these units could do what I wanted. It was not the case at all. Very disappointing in BB and the product.

    Possible defective unit

I bought this as it was a Deal of the Day and I know my existing G router was 5+ years old. I installed the new router, and set it up and then problems started. First, it would not consistently communicate with my cable modem. I would look up and find I only had local access. Second, it reduced my bandwidth to 0.5mbps, when I used to get 20 on my old Linksys G unit. I played with all the setting, and did all the troubleshooting and could not fix the problem, so I returned the unit. Maybe it was just a lemon, but I'm not running out to buy another one.

    Product with poor performance

This product seemed to be easy to install for the first time. However, it only provided fair wireless connection for one wi-fi device only (I'm having one laptop and one desktop). Once one is in use, the other one experiences extremely slow internet service. So I switched back to direct modem connention to check my internet service, and nothing was wrong. After switching back to the router, it stopped working no matter how hard and how many times you tried the so called "easy installation". The is the worst router I have experienced.

purchased at recommendation of Best Buy sales person. Belkin has an IP address mismatch with ATT and SBC Global; had to jump or bypass the router, then nothing ELSE worked with it (printer, ipad, anything else wireless); spent no kidding about 4 hours on 3 different tech support calls; tore the thing out and returned it. What a pain in the pitooty...NEVER again will I purchase ANYTHING Belkin.

    Lousy Router, Stale DNS

The router needs to be rebooted twice a DAY. Sometime even that does not eliminate IP conflict errors. I have put on the self heal mode for Daily basis. My SMART Tv cannot connect to the WIFI SSID after a few hours of operation or a day of operation. I have to unplug the TV, Reboot the WIFI router.. Its getting to a point beyond bearable annoyance.

I bought this from Best Buy store, they told me since i have a small apartment this router will work good for me, when I installed it didn't detect my modem, I followed all the instructions and still didn't detect my modem, I heard from other friends that they had the same problem and ended up buying another brand of router. Don't waste your money.
