It doesn't toast evenly but it's just toast. If you have something smaller like an english muffin, it is hard to get out. When it breaks I will definitely buy a better toaster. Seems cheap.

Somewhat disappointing

BUT thin slices seem to toast unevenly (the top darkens well before the bottom. In addition, small slices (e.g., Pepperidge Farm swirl) are difficult to remove because this toaster does not have the capability to push the slices up.
