Wide enough for bagels. it gets the job done for me now that I know the true temperature settings. Also, it took over 5 cycles on medium setting to get the smell of burnin plastic to be bearable.....and now after making toast 5 times, no plastic burning odor noted.

Pretty Toasty

It looks high end without breaking the bank. It toasts great once you find your perfect setting. It was a great replacement for my last one that croaked after a couple of years.
