Crispiest of Chicken Wings from Convenient Cooker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is an upgrade in many ways over our previous Air Fryer, which was analog & much smaller in size @ only 3.5-qt, instead of the much more practical 6 qt size offered here by Bella. This particular Bella Pro unit is constructed really well. The base actually feels safe to leave on our laminate countertops without fear of heat damage; where with our previous unit we were less confident & would place on top of a butcher block to be safe. The basket is HUGE compared to what we were working with before. WOW! Chicken wings are our favorite, and we’d barely get 4-5 drum/wing sections in the 3.5qt, which is only enough for 1 adult or 2 small kids. Now with this and our family of four (including two teens) - we are able to make a dozen wings at the same time, and they are even better because they are more evenly cooked, w/out the tips getting too burnt from being close to the heating element. This thing really has crispy down to a science. Checkers brand frozen fries from the grocery come out as good as they taste fresh out of the oil in the store! The digital controls are great too. Timer is great, the beep tone is pleasant, and you can perform many methods of cooking other than Air Frying, like roasting, broiling, baking, reheating, keep- warm and dehydrate. While we haven’t tried anything other than air frying wings & fries, we are really looking to test the versatility more as this device is super easy to clean up thanks to a dishwasher safe tray and basket. Whether in the market for your first Air Fryer, or looking to upgrade - this is a perfect choice.
