This is a very attractive, solid, and functional cabinet. It looks amazing in my living room. The box it came in was well packed, and it protected the unit from damage. There are only a few things that kept it from getting a perfect score. 1. Putting this thing together took some time (and I'm very good at these things). There were a few pieces that had to be coxed into place. 2. There are two supporting feet for the center of the cabinet. When fully assembled, these feet were 2-3 inches above the ground, with no way to adjust for the distance. I simply removed them. In spite of these two minor issues, I am 100% pleased with the product.

So, I bought the curved version of this cabinet, which was on clearance. I bought it as a new item and had it delivered to my house. When I received it, the box was beat up. Opened it up and began taking the pieces out. Within moments, it was easy to tell this was an opened item that was returned and resold to me. Corners were dented, screw holes were torn up, large crack in one of the shelves, scraped across a few pieces... Needless to say, it was not new. Very irritated with the situation and when I talked to the manager, he response was bring it back and we'll order a new one. That's a given! This is a massive inconvenience, to put all the pieces back in the box to where they'll fit right and then find someone to help load it in the truck, drive back to best buy, just for them to order another and not any guarantee of getting a new one, undamaged... Best buy should take more pride in the product they are delivering to customers and provide more for the customer when this kind of situation occurs. So I had to splurge to get this $400 cabinet. I will say, the contents of this cabinet are packed well. And has foam bumpers on the corners for impact.
