I am still on the first disc. It has potential to be good. It also could be not so good. Will let you know when I am done with the 10 hrs of episodes.

I did not notice that this was a series when I purchased it but as we continue to watch it, its getting better and I may have to increase my stars

If you have read Beowulf, this is another version, not a lot of new material. Just expanded to fill more time.

This was an interesting series. To me it seemed to be a cross between Game of Thrones and Vikings. Not actually the original storyline for the epic that was Beowulf, but entertaining never the less. Good, solid acting and quite impressive special FX. A PG-13 type production with only some bloody fight scenes to offend somebody. It was a great price and genuine event.

Bought for wife. See enjoys time pieces like this, Outlander and The Vikings, (to name a few).

I enjoyed this series quit a bit. It is very entertaining and well done. Although it can be a little cheesy at times. Overall though this is a great series. Too bad there is only one season.

There are about 16 episodes which follow Beowulf in his return to Shieldsland (home). There is love, fighting, political family and clan intrigue.
