I really enjoyed this Beowulf series. It was made with care, excellent acting and directing by many people. The shows are tied together very well by many different writers and directors. There are about 16 episodes which follow Beowulf in his return to Shieldsland (home). There is love, fighting, political family and clan intrigue, and even CGI creatures such as sandworms! All is done with care and at a highly professional level. It was a pleasure to watch this series.
I recommend this Beowulf series to everyone.
Interesting retell of the classic Old English epic. The CGI is very well done, making the mythical beasts seem authentic. The story line is an interesting mystery, tying in with minor subplots involving interactions between characters, and occasional flashbacks.
