Exactly what was needed and in stock at local Best Buy

They told me they would fix my issue (they didn’t send me the cable) since May 15, 2025. They haven’t refunded me, I cannot send a support ticket or something, I don’t know where to else to contact someone. Please, help me, God.

We all have adapter cords... from products we have had, and no longer have. But it never fails that you need that one cord, that you can't find. Well this cord helps solve that, and then some. 12 foot long, is plenty length for any usage for this cord. It is thin, 18AWG, so don't try using this on newer laptops, they draw too much power. This will be a good replacement for large blue-tooth speakers, a smaller monitor. This is a non-polarized cord, meaning it can plug into your outlet either way. DO NOT modify your device you are connecting this to, to allow it to fit.. that is going to cause you problems. If your adapter, device does not have the double rounded sides, then this is the wrong cord. Don't force it. Both ends of the cords are molded on to the wire. Thicker rubber/plastic is on the ends, so you can firmly connect and plug this wire into your outlet. The extended size is good, as you probably won't need an extension cord or power strip for the VAST (near all) uses. Good price, simple replacement for that lost cord, or one that was damaged

This is a perfect power cord for most of my devices including video game systems. Most C7 devices only come with a 3 foot or slightly longer cord. This can make it difficult to set them up where you want them. It fits my video game systems perfectly and allows me to position them in a better spot in my home entertainment setup. It also works with many soundbars and other audio devices. Also, being non-polarized means it fits into the power outlet in either direction. Not a huge deal, but definitely a plus as it reduces some of the frustration when trying to plug devices into outlets in tight spaces. This is overall a great alternative to what manufacturers include in the box with most electronic devices. I should also mention it fits many late model HDTVs. I plan to acquire more of these cords to replace the ones that came with the devices. It also low voltage (a 7 amp rating) but that is fine for more than 95% of the devices manufactured with a C7 plug nowadays. It also has an overall high quality feel to it so I know it will last a long time.

I got this cord because of the length. I have an old radio (from the 80's) that I still use the radio and I saw the apportunity to get a longer cord after all these years, or in the least a spare. The one on there is lucky to be 5’. Either way this slid right into the spot and works. This also worked with one of my newer tv's (2020 model) that had a cord like this. I figured I'd see if this would work, and it did. Again most radios and tv's that used this cord in the past most were around 4 to 6’, this being 12’ makes it very handy for moving things to a different area that may not be close to a plug. The build and feel on this is comparable to factory cords. It is their house brand, which I've always had good luck in my 40 plus years shopping here. It is non-polarized, making it easy to plug in anyway you need and again comoatable with many of my older electronics. I have 2 older radios this worked with, my one tv, and I'm sure this may work with some game consoles or older small appliances. I reccomend this.

The BestBuy Essentials 12 foot non-polarized power cord is exactly as it should be, a 12-foot long power cord that will work in place of the one that comes with many electronics. I had no problems with it and am very glad to have a 12 foot long version of this cord. Design This two-prong power cord can be used to replace the one that comes with many electronics, giving you a longer power cord. To use this cord, just plug one end into the device or power brick, and then plug the two prongs into the electrical A/C power outlet on your wall. Devices Devices I have that this cord works with are my 65" TV, a large Bluetooth speaker, a medium Bluetooth speaker, a sub-woofer, a sound bar, an old handheld game system (connects to the power brick), another game system, and a laptop (connects to the power brick). So that's seven that I have and I probably missed something. What will it not work with It should work with many low voltage appliances, probably anything it fits. This uses 18 AWG wire which, according to a quick web search, can handle up to 5 Amps. So definitely nothing that needs more Amps than that, but I'm not sure I've seen anything with this type of cord that does. Also, this is non-polarized. That means the end that plugs into the device can fit in either way, right-side-up or up-side-down. The left and right side do not matter. There are some devices that take a cord with an end that's very similar to this but the left and right sides are asymmetric - so you can't flip it over and plug it into the device either way, it only fits one way. That is a polarized cord. This cord will not work with those devices. I know I have had at least one device like that but was not able to find which one it is. Summary I'm not sure I've seen this cord sold separately, or at this length, before. This is a great option to have as either a replacement for a damaged cord or to give more length for any of a plethora of devices.

Excellent replacement power for many uses. I’ve been able to test/use this in many settings and it performs well without issue in all applications. It works with power supply/charger bricks or direct insertion for certain electronics. The cord itself is black in color, made with 18 AWG wiring and durable plastic sheathing with reinforced AC plug on one end and C7 connection on the other. The plastic sheathing is flexible and accommodates any usage. I really appreciate the 12-foot length of this cord to make many applications more reachable without the need for an additional extension cord. I enjoy being able to use with my laptop charger while sitting on the couch across the room from a plugin. I also bought a second one of these for a television I have mounted high that was too far from a wall outlet, again eliminating the need for an additional extension cord, which is nice. Overall solid replacement cord with many uses. Another quality Best Buy essentials product that does the job well at a fair price.

This is a replacement power cord for any of a number of modern devices. It has one of those symmetrical figure-8 connectors that are commonly used on TV sets, soundbars, peripheral speakers, laptop computer power cords, and the power cords of many other modern devices. These are not the kind of thing that you typically need replacements for, and they’re not something you typically lose. Having said that, just recently I couldn’t find one of the power cords that came with the set of speakers that came with a soundbar I had stored in a closet and had given to a friend. So, guess what? He called me when he couldn't find a power cord among the nest of cords that I included in the box I gave to him. So I needed a replacement power cord, and this one fit the bill perfectly. While I wouldn’t see the need to keep a significant supply of these on hand, having one or two in your spare parts drawer wouldn’t hurt, because, as I found out, you never know when you might need one. It's low-cost insurance against when you might need one in a pinch.

[PROS] Perfect Length: Given that this cable is 12', I've found multiple uses for it within my home. The most common has been connecting a console without needing to place it directly next to the television. I haven't noticed any issue or delay in performance of my plugged in devices. Sturdy Enough: The cable jacket is thick enough to not make the cord flimsy. However, I wouldn't want any part of this cable exposed to much foot traffic regardless of how long it is. [CONS] Excludes Organizational Accessories: My only gripe is there's no way to neatly manage the cable outside of the included twist ties that comes with it. The cable doesn't need to be retractable, but having included Velcro cable ties would help with cable management in scenarios of extended use. [CONCLUSION] Buying this cable is an intentional purchase. It means that 8' and 10' variants just won't cut it. From experience, I can highly recommend this cable. It doesn't do anything spectacular, but then it again it doesn't need to.

Best buy essentials 12’ cord Is ok. The quality of the cord seems to be a bit thin compared to the cord that came with me device. I believe it will be suitable but just a big difference than what i had and what i expected. I plugged it into my device device powered on without fail Packaging was per basic and came in a large shipping box for a small item. The usage of wire seems to be a bit lightweight. The cord bends a bit more and flexible. I was used to a cord that was very durable and a bit stiff which felt high quality. In my opinion the cord gives me more length and doesn’t get hot which is good. I’ve used this for the past few days without fail. The cord is black so easy to hide against a base board or wall. I would suggest to use insulated wiring clips of your going to fasten against a wall or baseboard to secure against. The cord allows some stretch so you can keep it a bit taught just wouldn’t pull too much. I would recommend this cord if you need more length. This will work

Happened to be just want I needed for an in-line power supply. The figure-8 connector (also known as IEC C7) is pretty universal to a fair number of electronics, so this is a perfect replacement for most TVs, in-line AC adapters, and other devices that use a 2-pin connector. The cord length was great for avoiding an extension cord. If I were going to complain about anything with this cord, it would be that it’s not a flat wire. The non-polarized design helps though, making it universal for any device that uses a standard C7 connector - gaming console, AV device, router, laptop power adapter, and so on. Just make sure that what you’re connecting it to is insulated so you don’t get shoked. Note that it only allows for 10 amps of maximum draw. Make sure you pay attention to this because you’ll either cause a failure of the cord or you’ll overheat the cord, which can cause fires. Like I stated earlier, the 10 foot length is perfect for avoiding extension cords, which can be extremely dangerous. Make sure that you also don’t run this cord under furniture or carpets, which can be tempting.

Works well, no problems. I keep it next to my monitor, which I use for a variety of systems, including a TIVO Lux HDMI, a powered switchbox for display, laptops with HDMI, mini-computers with D-Sub, and PC desktops with display ports. Because the monitor must handle a variety of power issues that may occasionally have different needs and/or feedback, a good power cable is necessary to prevent spikes on the line from the AC and/or a variety of connected devices. The monitor occasionally freezes and/or has problems with the various I/O from switching modes because it has built-in speakers, a microphone, and a camera in addition to being a WLED and having an external webcam connected to the system. Although I rarely have problems with the cable I use for the monitor, it really interferes with my ability to multitask on multiple devices. This powercord has only failed once so far today, requiring a reset of the LUX device, indicating a higher cabling standard. Like other BB cables, I am happy with this one.
