The newer Series X/S doesn't come with a couple of USB like the Xbox One did. I plugged this into the back and now I can have the options of more USB outlets.

However, I have two other 4-into 1 USB hubs--the ones that look like octopuss- They cost me more than this hub and are far less reliable.
