Put an adapter on it and tried to use it with my friend so we could both hear the mix without having to use the monitors as it was late and it didn’t work we each just got one ear of sound.

It gave off a lot of static sound and then would just stop working until wiggling the cable around. I would recommend buying the Insignia splitter instead.
