I used this on a Sony Handicam TRV128 to connect to my ClearClick Video to Digital converter 2.0 Only complaint I have could be on my side which is why I gave it only 4 stars. Make sure the connection on your handycam is secure and not dirty or you will get very bad humminng while usinf your converter coming exclusively from the red wire side whenever it is plugged in. Only way to get rid of it is to not of audio on the left side and manually widen the audio in DAW program like FL
